Been an alright week for me, but with its up and downs and its up, up, ups. Deposited £15 to play around with as just had been paid at that point last week. Managed to get it to £48 from playing way beyond my BR on Ladbrokes blaze but lost all of it apart from £3 due to lots of suckouts and of course tilt. I somehow managed to make back £15 and the last two days I have been slowly playing tight on Blaze to win it back(I have some back up money in bank so thought why not) and just right now I am sitting on £55 after having a great session. Think after this session I should bank what I have made and get back to proper grinding so I won't lose it.
I have had my fair share of beats and suckouts today but it all comes back around as my hands finally start holding up. Hopefully I can push on from here and not lose it.
Cash tables going well but in MTT land I am not doing so well. I play the odd one or freeroll but never get to the money. Could well just be a variance phase, who knows, but there is always plenty of chances.
Half way to my first milestone of my poker goals. Hopefully I can reach that £100 then I can stay off those boring stakes below and start making some good money and reach gold status once again for more bonus's on Ladbrokes.

Had a little change in my bank account so thought I would deposit in 888 and try the grind. Big mistake because it has not changed and is just as bad as jokerstars. Constant set ups, idiots chasing and calling with crap. Been set up, suckout and chased against all night. I did make a little profit at first but after returning after a break it just constantly took my money. Twice I had two pair and twice the river gifted the other person I had gotten in an all in with gave the board another pair and lost to a higher kicker. I still like the site for some reason...
Meanwhile over at ladbrokes I am doing fine grinding and much less than the crap I just witnessed at 888. I dont have much in my account buts its enough to grind into a bigger bankroll so fingers crossed.

After running constantly hot and playing really well for over a week I just had such a bad two days. Never hitting flop much and low stakes player always calling draws and lowest pairs on the board to hit two pairs and stuff. Had one BI left just now and had KK on the button. Player before me donked all his chips on a gut shot on the flop and of course hit it as odds mean f**k all these days.
Thats me skint and unable to buy in until next week. I guess a rest is not bas but I am just pissed off with players calling with anything and always winning, its a joke. I guess if I did not lose that bigger BR I had due to stupidity then I would have been okay.

I found a nice surprise in my bank last night as a mysterious £20 was in there and I have no clue where it came from, but that won't stop me from spending it. Deposited £5 into my Ladbrokes account to start another grind. This time I will be sticking to bankroll management with no detours to that damn blaze tables.
Played two small sessions last night and had a table filled with two stupid fish players so I got my fishing hook out. BI was £2 and I left with £10 which is good for the lowest stake. I played on another table and made a little more. Finished the night on £10 profit and my BR on £15 so I should be away from danger now if I lose a few buyins or go on tilt.

It's possible...
Won a little bit more earlier. Was card dead for an hour also and lost a little but I still ended in a little profit. Going on for another session now before bed. Hopefully end on another £10 profit.

G'day mate Well it is 5:05 am here in Fredericton,NB. I have been up for about 10 minutes. Allowing myself so extra time to wake up before I go to work grinding Just wanted to say hello to you and wish you a good day. Very glad to see you was able to turn things back around. You CAN do it amigo! just remain calm and patient. Poker is a sport that demands calm patient focus. Your job is to make good decisions based on what is happening on your table and reacting to the game that is unfolding around you. Play well and and solod poker with proper bankroll management and you WILL SUCCEED! I know we can both do it! wishing you all the best. be cool

Although I had a big losing and running bad night following BRM I still managed to finish the night sessions off just over breaking even. I should have finished on £18 twice but it happens and luckily I still have all of my BR.
As long as I don't go to the Blaze/Zoom type tables and stick within my BR I should be golden. I have grinded from £5 to £450 before so if I did that once I can do it again...I hope.
Also, listening to music always helps me focus too. You should try that yourself.
Edit:
Currently getting royally fecked over with my first session. All the fish are running like gods and none of my raises, decent hands or bluffs are working as its any two cards, call every street and chase every draw. I might have to leave and have a break soon otherwise I will be tilting. Hope you are doing better.

There's stars in my eyes my friend but today is a new day and also pay day, which means restarting the grind later. This time I mean business so I need to keep to three rules:
1: Stick to BRM. No jumping up stakes. 2: Leave those Blaze/Zoom tables along as thats where I lose too 3: Maximum loss of 2/3 BI's means leave, have a rest and come back at a later time

Posted by thefly131: Well if you play your a-game and stick to those rules, you should be a winning player.
How much you win is depending on your pokerskills.
I built up a bankroll in the past from 50 $ up to 500 $ with a good bankrollmanagement just playing SNG 1 tables (DoN) and SNG HU.
But it takes a lot of hours and dicipline.
When I follow Bank roll management I am a winning player, it is when I usually go on those blaze/zoom type tables or behave like an idiot on tilt on higher stakes that makes me go busto. The last two grinds have I done really well but as soon as I lost a few BI's due to idiot's and then gone to blaze I have just gone bust. When I last did well from going from £1.40 to £38 in two weeks I should have just carried on following my BRM but I was stupid and kept playing Blaze. I could have been on £100 by now.
I am more of a cash table player with the odd MTT once in a while but I should try my hand at SNG's once I have enough roll. It could be a nice break from Cash tables once in a while.
Did you cashout that $500 or did you go busto?
@Ronin:
Hope everything is okay for you mate? Your own life comes first before Poker.
Updated to my goals list(Also found on first page)
Goals:
£100 [ ] £200 [ ] £500 [ ] £700 [ ] £1000 [ ]
Extended Goals:
- Move upto stake(0.5/0.10) once I have reached £100 BR - Try an MTT/SNG at least once a week - Win extra amount to buy full Poker tracker
[Deposited this time: £7] [Current Bankroll - £11.80]
Only had a small 20 minute session last night as it was half two in the morning but I was on two 0.01/0.02NL tables but the fish were there for the taking as they were trying to bluff on A-rag cards when they had nothing and of course calling me down when I had cards in position such as KQ/AJ/AQ when they called my 3 bets OOP with stuff like Q9/A2/J8 etc. Still, £4.80 profit in twenty minutes is good so I should have enough to grind on now.

What goes up must come down. Played a session a few hours and was down £5 on two tables. Took me an hour to actually hit a hand and the fish were just hitting their rubbish hands doe ages. Also got my KK cracked by a fish calling OOP with 89 and hitting two pair. Usually I would go on tilt and start spewing so I just had to calm down and take it easy and I got my BR back up to just over £9. Only a BI down in the end and still £2 over my deposit so I am still in.

I can see today being a break even day. Lost another BI and a half then finally won it back. Going to have a nice break now until my daily session before bed. Good thing is no tilt and playing well to win back what I lose.

You should try and use the bankroll management. You see it doesnt do you any good, not using it. Maybe you are trying to catch up really fast on your losses. and that sets you even more back. Dont run, walk Good luck with your next sessions.

Yeah I am staying with it now. Been on a weird break even run all day but I am just biding my time and waiting now. Been folding more than usual too which is always good. Up around £10 at the moment so I am up a little bit but still £1 down from last night, but everything is going smooth at the moment.
As long as have enough to grind I am fine as long as I dont steer away from BRM.
------------ Down to my last 2 BI's now. Nothing to do with tilt or higher stakes. Just nothing going my way today. Still have enough to grind so nothing is over yet.

Congratulations on not going on tilt. I am glad you still have some cash to work with. I know you can do it. You know the same as I do that the key is to work the plan and stay within the bankroll management which you have available. Hoping to play a session or two today myself. best wishes to you be cool
