I do not recommend limping in with Aces ever. It allows to many people to limp along as well. Better to bet and go head to head or just get the blinds. best wishes be cool

I agree with Ronin. Although we always want to maximize our winnings , geeting the blinds only is much better than lose all your money against the big blind . So many time I've limped and I've ended up losing against 73o or 92o cause the big blind got trips or straight on the flop.

Plexo i know your pain, I too have endured that BS countless times online. experience has taught me to never slow play Poker Ace or Kings. However when I play pocket kings if an Ace hits the flop ad my opponent bets. I will fold the king very easily. I am sure you have seen countless times when you have pocket kings or queens that an Ace hits the damn flop. Never a pleasant feeling to see that flopped Ace. wishing you all the best be oool

I was being sarcastic about limping in with AA, everyone would call and probably beat it.
KK is a real loser for my lately, for coin flips and Ace flops anyway.
I never limp and I have a decent or semi decent hand unless I am in the BB and thats just calling the limps, but most of the time the limpers call my re-raise/3bet anyway and luck out a lot with rubbish hands. Anyway, I managed to crawl back two BI's last night after being three down. Hopefully today is the day I get through a session with less drama and profit for once.

I usually Cbet unless I am in position and see if I get a reraise or something. Maybe in position I should call down decent raises before me instead of 3 betting unless there are tons of callers. I usually get AA OOP position though so people usually fold.
And my downswing continues. Just had a short stack go in before me with A10 and with QQ I just called. Flops an Ace. Aces always come out when I have JJ-KK in coin flips..
Then called a decent enough raise with 10,10 and hit a set on the flop. Checked as was OOP and the same guy who won before bet the pot so I went all in for his remaining small stack as there was a flush draw on the board. Guy turns over A3s and of course hits his flush. What can I do to win in coin flips/all ins when I am ahead, it is just starting to take the piss now. Luckily I still have 20% on that BI left still but I should be up ahead. I get my money in good everytime lately but everyone keeps suckout out and hitting lucky cards.

I know how you feel Phisix. Sometimes you just got to say "what the phuck" It can be very hard to take when it seems like the sites keep rewarding donks for being idiots They keep them playing and eventually they get it all from the rake. The idiots are to stupid to learn from their own mistakes because they are winning with crap and sucking out so much they think they are good players. It gets very frustrating. best of luck to you be cool

Indeed. The good thing is I am staying calm and not tilting or spewing money away. Keep getting fish calling my 3bet isolation calls and flopping good hands when I do it with cards like AK ect. I know its not a guaranteed win or hand but they with stuff like 36, 23 and always hit something as the flop always gives low cards. It's just depression but all I can do is ride the storm and wait for variance to swing back the right way.
Glad you won that tourny mate your doing well not at one of us is doing okay.

I try to. Doing alright at the moment but getting annoyed at ace rag callers who call massive raises and always hit that ace. I actually hate Aces when I dont have them.

I only ever play two tables at a time so I have enough focus for both of those tables. If I play anymore then my focus drops slightly, but then again I feel comfortable with two anyway.
------------ And my losing streak with KK continues. Had a short stack 3bet we after my KK raise so went all in as he only had a small amount of chips left and he turned over AQ which I would have called myself in his position and for the 20th time an Ace flops.
variance turned itself on the next hand as I had odds on a straight and flush draw and actually hit it for once and took his money. The next hand I had 44 and called a small raise and hit a set. The guy I was against had K4 and hit two pair, and I finally won a few BI's back as my BR was getting low. Hopefully this is a sign things will start getting good for me.

I do not fold KK very easy when an Ace is on the flop. It actually depends on the action preflop, whether it was a 3bet or 4bet pot or not.
Sometime I try to keep the pot low to reach the showndown. Many time I have encountered with 1010,JJ, QQ or even KQ, although it is also true that I have lost some times agains A2o or A3o
It will be interesting to have a look whether KK is giving me profit when an Ace in on the flop but I dont know how to see that

Just had a great run of running hot on both my tables. I even had my aces not get cracked for once and Quads at one point but now its turned back around. Starting with my QQ running into KK.
However, I am only 1bi down from what I deposited now so I am happy and still in a good place considering I only had 2 bi's left.
Edit:
I take that back I just caught two fish callers in a Ace high flush trap. Now I am 2bi up from my original deposit so everything is good. Long may it continue.

Thanks. I am quitting while I am ahead and actually finishing a session in profit. After a rocky start I was down to my last £4 and I finish on £12.50. Not bad, especially with going up and down so many times tonight.

I don't want to jinx it but I think my downswing is finally starting to finish. I have been either break even after sessions or a small profit. I was up 3bi's just now with my first session of the day and everything was going fine until I ran into KK and Had TpMK Q on the flop. Still left with a BI up so its still good.
Currently on £15 BR. Very slow and very steady for now.
