How much money did you already earn If you want to make more money i can give you this advice : - Focus on one sort of gameplay : cash games, sit'n go's or tournaments (no limit) - Read a lot of articles, you can find a lot of articles on the internet - Watch a lot of poker videos - If you play at the microstakes read articles & videos of the same level - Try to play with a descent strategy and learn of your mistakes

Join poker fourm, read articles about poker, learn the stats on a HUD so you can exploit the table, 1 table while you learning new concepts, play within your bankroll so you dont play scarce money, watch poker videos, get coaching, work on the mental game of poker too, play hands so you get the experience and lots more.

Start by playing a few play money games to get the hang of it. Then start playing freerolls. Request a bankroll from BRM and start grinding the real tables. Thats a good way to built a bankroll.

It's good that you want to learn more about the game, my advice for you would be to take a look n instructional vids that you can find all over the internet.
In my book they provide far better training than poker books. Still, what games do you play, i can also definately give you some titles if you like to read

not salamis...wrinkles are the ones who make you a winning or losing player...if you have more than 4 on your salami- you have no chance of maintaining a proper poker face and as we all know: no poker face = no chance of being a true pro guess salami dewrinklelization surgery is the best gift you can give to any aspiring poker player

I beg to differ on the salami issue.
If you have six or more wrinkles on your salami, you know you got a big salami, otherwise it would not wrinkel in that fashion. This, in turn, gives you a good confidence at the table: you need not worry about being underdimensioned in the salamidepartment.

In addition to the sage advice given by other BRMers (except of course for pochui) the answer is that given by Arthur Rubenstein when asked how to get to Carnegie Hall: "Practice, practice, practice."
If you can afford it make a deposit and play real money Tournaments/S'n'Go's etc. whatever you find you prefer.
If you can't afford it you will have to use free rolls (such as the excellent BRM ones on PS and FT) to build a bank roll but the play will be nothing like that in cash games except for micro stakes where it is similar.

i think we should rename this thread to sth like: "Wrinkled salami thread and the direct influence it has on your poker career". there you go Petkus dude- brm members have given you all the insights on how to win more- hope you take all advices seriously and do a dewrinklelization or on the contrary wrinklelization operation and have a great time at the tables
