Actually I'm very sad to see that 1M.BanKroLL from Malta did not win that min $1 million prize cash as his bankroll would have been in common with his nickname
And wow 22 years old kid taking down such online event is pretty awesome, Germany crushed it if you add 9th place finisher too. Congrats kid.

I was watching the finaltable, I had a funny feeling that Germans will be the top 3 of the tournament and it became true. When the Germans reached the million I was happy too.
22 year old, wow, I want to know the other Germans age too. Congratulations.

epic performance form the germans, from what i've seen germans are very solid players, they have cold nerves when it matters most and are not afraid to mix it up too. of course drunk russians are still way ahead in the pecking order, but that's a different topic.

Anyway glad to hear about new faces in the world of online poker, it is good to see new players that have been playing low stakes, moving up and winning a huge jackpot.
22 years old and getting like more than 1million is a feat cheers hope you keep it up man and use the money for better things than poker.

I was checking the guy's history and his biggest win to date ( except for this one) was something around 20k some time ago. Do you think he entered the main event through a satellite? seems a big too much for a guy to put in a direct buy-in what could represent 25% ( pure speculation no way i can confirm this) of his entire roll/lifetime earnings.
Anyway i saw the action live for a bit... saw him busting some guy with AA vs QQ when there where still 40 left and taking the temporary lead back then. Also saw him down to 3 or 4 millions against 30 from the other guy and managing to get back in action.
Congrats to all winners there... keep my seat warm for me some 100 years more

The thing is I can imagine there's a tonne of rich businessmen and other speculative punters entering 5k tourneys, so if some 22 year old with plenty of experience but not the bankroll gets a satellite, they are as live as a lot of players.

PlayinWasted turns 23 later this month and lives in a small town near Cologne, Germany. He's been in southern part of the country for the last few years finishing up his bachelor's degree in economics. He just started working on a second degree in--surprise!--psychology."If I find a way and develop a strategy to beat a certain game to a certain degree, that was the interesting part for me. I don't have the drive to do the grind just for the purpose of making money. I usually get bored after some time, start playing fancy and bad or stop playing. I usually start to look for something else to learn and understand."

It must be really awesome to be 22 years old and win so much money. He can live without any other income what so ever in many years on. Add some others victory and he has taken his last "real job"....

That's a pretty crazy tourney to take down at any age. Germans have a reputation for very solid and aggressive play, and this tourney certainly showed that they are among the top players in the world. I can only hope to one day finish well in a big tourney like that one....

Germany is fast becoming a major force in poker. You see quite a few of them playing these high roller events. The days of American and Canadian players ruling is over and the Europeans are coming through quickly
