Like the guys said,...you played it well,....and the way it should probably have been played,...but I wouldn't have played it that way. I would have shoved it! Quite possibly that guy with the 10s would have folded...
Now if I had a pair of aces I would have played the hand out as they usually always have a good chance of standing up, although in that case they obviously would have gotten beat.
I generally always shove KK and QQ,...and sometiomes JJ depending on my position and a few other factors...!
