Gus has the best pokerface, he looks like a moviestar, the bad guy in some cheap old western I like his style, great to watch, but dont want to copy him, he's too loose some time but its true he's lucky all the time.

I think you say he's lucky just because they don't show when he lose on tv or on on youtube. You only see when he gets what he want so you say he's all about luck but it isn't he has a long term very effective math based strategy.

in april this year gus made 1.7 million(WPT), now you dont get that sort of money from luck, he should have beat david chiu but he got riverd for a 3.4 mill win, The man is a human calculator and has the best poker face in the business, some of his lay downs and bluffs are unreal, for me gus is the greatest player around and without an ego he is brusing outhers.

Gus new to the scene ??? ... dont think so ... hes holding 3 WPT Winnings, 5th most winning person on the wpt and has played for roughly 5-6 years now.
Gus is one of the best pokerplayers out there, mainly because of his non-earthly ability to calculate and analyze his opponents and the board to pieces , read the new book he wrote ... " Every Hand Revealed " , and youll probably end up with a big WOW on your face and a whole new oppinion about him , he might play something that looks loose and on tilt , but every hand is analyzed and calculated to the last shred of colour in it ...
Hes one of the greatest ... and someday hell be a poker Legend along with other greats as Doyle Brunson.

5-6 is only 5-6 wsop that he could have played in making him new to the scene WPT is diffrent hes been playing scince 1997 i think (there abouts) but as poker goes he is a fairly new player he didnt even know how to play the game (properly) in his first WPT. Some of the players there have 20-30 years behind them, thats why i said he is new to the sceen, just like he is a bambi in the high stakes

lol Bambi........High Stakes is mini stakes for him you dont know what's going on behind the scenes or before he played poker, the man has been a sick gambler all his life.
He's 1 of the greatest though he's strugling with selfcontrol, he admits him self that he's a compulsive gambler......but a good 1 with a smile on his lips.
I think he's number 2 on the biggest loser's list on FTP this year.

Gus is the man. He is a g8 pokerplayer - among the best - but he is also a fun pokerplayer. Look at all the hands he plays. I would never play those poor starting hands. But you can't take away the g8 danes ability to read the hands. and his ability to push players out of the pot with aggressive betting style.

B4 poker he was and still is a big backgammon player and did a lot of sport betting also i hear he is in to his tennis, behind the scenes he does not win millions in fact there is not much behind the scenes with gus its all in the public light you may find a few little stories flipping a coin for 20k etc but his real income is in the main light, gus himself says he is new to high stakes, the reason he play "bad hands" is quote "I play the players, not the cards,", gus will take youdown without looking at his cards thats true poker.
