Better players at Unibet Poker?  0
I've only played Unibet for a few days but I've noticed a completely different style than what I'm used to online. While most tables will usually have a couple maniacs, fish, chasers-- Unibet seems to have disciplined players. Even at low stakes I've noticed they play smart.

The first night I play I took the 20 pounds, brought it to 150-some in two hours and with the favourable exchange rate, withdrew $100 Canadian. I feel like I was just extremely lucky in finding the few fish there are on that site.

The next couple days I've sat around on tables for hours, waiting for a chance at a big bet and there are never any takers. I continually leave with a profit of 1 or 2%. It's frustrating as each table seems to be a stalemate between every other player. I actually feel like I'm playing a table of my clones.

I've decided that I'm not going to make much off of Unibet so I'm pulling out what I've got. Time to go back to a softer poker room like PartyPoker or Pacific.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in skill and patience at Unibet? Or have I just had the poor luck of running into some very, very tight tables?

They probably play tight but most of them are just luckbox, I only see some players at Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and Bodog which play good and are indeed good.

I've played a bunch of sit and gos at Unibet, 5-10 Euro games. I find the players at Unibet are easier than the ones on Pokerstars and plus, when you play a 5 Euro game, its actually $7.5 game which is cool.

Unibet has many people playing with their own money. That makes the games harder. If you play at Titan Poker in the lower stakes, you can really see that theyre giving many cash bonuses to people who used to play there, means: deposited there. The last time I deposited money there was about 8 months ago and still theyre giving me a cash bonus of at least 20 bucks every month.

Since I havent been a highroller there, I think theyre givin this bonus to just anyone to keep up the action and keep the rake coming.
People there are playing Bingo, not poker in the low and microlimits. Smile

Unibet is in the prima network (microgaming)

This network has a lot of bonus grinders. So play there is often very tight.

If you look for loose play you should join Pacific/Lucky Ace, Everest or the OnGame network (Pokerroom, Tower, Bwin...)

But after a week of play you can only guess how good you are compared to the other players at a pokerroom.

Jepp,

the best players are at FTP and Stars.

But with the tourneys its always the same. You can play a 2000 $ guaranteed crapshot for 3-5 bucks or play a 2000 guaranteed for 50 bucks.

Wether you pay serious money for a tourney or you have to battle your way through 4000 people.
No matter where you play.
