Im Going to Vegas baby
today i start my journey to vegas, i have one month mabee two to build a roll before the WSOP sats start and i am focusing on doing this and only this. for those of you who dont know how much of an idiot i am i have renewed my passport at great expense ready and will have nothing stopping me so here goes.
i was thinking about what sites offered Vegas sats last year and have decided to build a roll on four sites ready. PKR PartyPoker Ipoker (Betfred) 888
as for bankroll management it is not my strong point, but i have $200 to Play with so thats $50 on each site, the plan is to build that up very carefully and than spend the lot when the Vegas sats start. i will keep updates on here so i can make myself more accountable (no action cash tables for me). also any advice or tips would be greatly appriciated.

G'day mate
I wish you success on your journey mate. I personally have no desire to go to the WSOP in 2014 or 2015. Hope you win the entire main event! Best wishes to you. be cool

That is one big goal you got there.Lets hope that you will get lucky managing to get the ticket for WSOP. After that you will need more luck to cash in, in the WSOP. Dont forget your goal and bankroll management. Good luck.

This seems like a good idea to try and build your bankroll up and i hope that you get a fair run of luck and achieve your goals. Vegas is going to be expensive so you are going to need a fair bit of luck so i wish you all the best and keep us updated

thanks for the responses, not played any games yet. unfortunately my starting funds have yet to become available in my account, which is very frustrating. been planing on doing something like this since last year and have not played that much poker so far this year. i understand the plan might sound like an unrealistic goal, or might make me sound a bit big headed but i think its good to have a clear goal and winning mindset.

yeah i got a new laptop last month but didnt play much last month, i have been waiting till i knew i could spare enough cash for a starting role without incurring any financial hardship, so that i wont need or be temped to cashout during the course of the operation . i was hoping mabee one of the sites had some phases i could start playing now, but the main plan is to stick to 1 table sits and a few micro sats to big weekend tournaments. my main concern is bankroll managment if i play only 1 table sits with a rule of 20-30 buyins it will mean i can start at $5.50 and $6 sits which is the least i would want to start at, but in reality my roll on the sites is starting at $50 but my point of view on the roll is that it is the total of all the sites, i dont know what other people think of this.
------------ got started now on 888 but got a bit giddy with all the waiting and wasnt familiar with 888 so not the best start played 2 games a 5.50 super turbo sng and a $6 speed tournament and didnt cash in either so down to 38.5 on 888 will call it a day but will play somewhere else tomorrow. off to play in the local casino now in a £20 rebuy with some friends.
------------ also can i say that i was a bit disappointed by 888 when i went to make my first deposit of $50 they then tried to make me deosit more by saying add $20 more and we will give extra bonus $50 more and get bigger bonus how much more do you want to add after i had attempted to add $50. i think this is a disgusting practice on their part.

nice goal you set yourself there drugmaster...however i recommend adjusting your route a bit...you should at least consider including Denver (or a few more places in Colorado) in your itinerary - 1st US state with legal pot shops i'm sure you will do a lot better @wsop when you have a couple of pot infused chocolate truffles around

Why bother going to USA for marijuana. What happened to Netherlands. It is much closer to us and the same rules apply to the whole country. There they still havent made it clear about the rules in all the states. You can smoke legally in one state, and then go to another and getting arrested for being under the influence.

Interesting thread, sorry to hear that you do not like 888, i made nice profits thre even my last deposit there was nightmare-ish since i lost big and decided to cashout for the moment.
I know you play on PKR so i guess it makes more sense to continue playing there since you already know the games and the competition.

right ive not been playing that sensibly over all. the roll on 888 is gone didnt play that well on there but will try again soon, wasn't familiar with the setup and could not find the right sngs for me to play and ended up tilting and losing it all, even played some casino games with it which i have blocked on PKR and Party Poker.
as for Party poker and PKR i have been playing a few sats and sngs. and cash game on PKR which i said that i wouldnt.
balance an PKR is @ $49.10 and i have earned a Masters ticket ($150) balanced on Party Poker is $38 and have a 50 seat ticket ($20) all in all it shows that i have not been following the bankroll management needed
as for ipoker i have yet to start because my Betfred account is in £s but the rest are in $s, might just top up PKR and Party and focus on them two sites only till the sats start.

I see you are a little bit addicted to the casino games Good thing you have figured that out, ( i bet you paid to get that lesson ) and you have blocked it where is available. Just dont take bankrolls in a site you cant put restrictions for it.

bankroll management is where the real money is, if you want to be rich become a bank manager or investment banker. seriously i could use some help with that though. not my strong point. plus i got a bonus on PKR and keep sitting at cashgame to try and clear it which, i shouldnt do.
