i have been playing in the sit and go festive freeroles and all i see is people sitting out through the entire game coz there all most garrantied a paid position .I say if your not gonna play the game right dont play at all give the people who want to play a chance to win an honest $0.05 cents its unfair and its cheating .
i rekon if you sit out for more than 3bb than you should be removed from the table it bull crap , theres nothing worst than playing against someone who sitts out the whole game and starts playing when everyone else has been knocked out . SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FAIR GAME frown

Sitting out is not "cheating". It's exactly the same as being there and folding every hand.
If sitting out will guarantee making the cash, then it's a perfectly good tactic to use. And also, in NO way are people sitting out at your table making it harder for you.
If you are being outplayed by people not even there, you need to put some serious work in to your poker play.

I dont think that sitting out is wrong and it is exactly the same as playing against a very tight player. I would love to be on a table where there are people sitting out because if you cant beat them you have got no chance of beating someone who is there!

Sorry to OP for hijacking the thread, but....
Nastasha - apologies, I've been so busy I haven't had time to do much about the staking.
What I will do, is very soon (in the next few days) I will transfer $100 to your Stars account - I want you to play whatever you want with it (MTTs only though please).. and keep records of everything you've played, until you have bought in to $100 worth of tournies. You can do this as quickly or slowly as you like... and once you've finished I'll look through the results and see how the best way to continue is.
Then in this case just simply double up and sit out or play only AA KK QQ etc... having AFK players on your table should be considered as a bonus and not something negative as far as I know. Good luck boy!!!

if the s&g plays in slo motion & is not even turbo ,it gets anoing ,chose a platform with turbo & superturbo ....like fulltilt or 888 don t waste u re time where u re not even enjoing

Since when sitting out is exactly the same thing as playing and folding every hand, starting from the very first one till the one will knock you out. That is totally moronic and i doubt anyone has ever done this. So you cant compare one thing with the other, cause simply no one does that.
