Today was a day of days for me. A day that will hopefully pave the way for an MTOPS victory. Here's what happened. -

Last night I decided to pull an all nighter, so I did. At 7:30AM (MT) I registered for a tournament. No, not Hold'em, it was a 1.10$ 5Card Draw Pot Limit (Single Draw, 48 players) Tournament. After FIVE and a Half hours of grinding, including a grueling HOUR of 3 handed play. That's right, we were 3 handed in that tournament for over an hour (1hr 7min to be exact). From break, to break, and then some. Finally after the most intense 3 handed play of my life, and a worthy heads up opponent, I took the tournament down for an extremely prestigious prize of 18.50$!!!!!

Don't be fooled, I'm not finished. Later, about 30 mins (FFS it was 31 mins) after the first victory was sealed, another tournament began. This one, with a larger prize pool, and a higher buy-in, and my very pride at stake. This one was a 3.30$ ML 10-Game (50 players). Unlike the first, this one was different. Donkey's.... Everywhere... Fishies... 2 outters.... NO!!.... Make he nightmares stop!..
Alas, I bested these demons, I remember sitting at <800 chips and hitting the nuts, tripling up. Snaring those fish, using the donkeys as bait (somehow) I conquered that tournament finishing in...
You guessed it. 1st fkin place. I made a deal with the guy in 2nd, so I didn't receive full value if I had won it outright, but I cashed a healthy 49.35$ (as opposed to 55.00$ if I had won outright).

After I was going to call it a night, I decided to play my usual nightly game. I've very recently (over the past 2 weeks) become very fond of the 0.55$ NL Irish (1R+1A) on full tilt. So every day that I can I play in the tournament, I do, and I usually do pretty good (this past 7 days I've cashed 5 times). Today was no different. As soon as I got home from getting munchies, I registered into that tournament and after a solid, almost unfluctuating 5 hour grind (Excluding my rebuy and add on lol), I managed to score 1st place, cashing 32.00$.

-5.95$ For all buy-ins/rebuys/add-ons
+99.85$ Fo total cashes today
93.90$ - - - - - - Total profit for the day

Back, to back, to freakin back 1st place finishes today, after pulling an all nighter. This day has gone 1000X better than I had expected it to, and with this gift, I plan to play as many MTOPS events as possible. Im already maxed out on the number of tournaments I can register into, but when MTOPS begins, that will be my only goal. To claim a title.
Wish me luck friends, as I do the same for you. May you be gifted with this that has been gifted to me today, and use it wisely. Thanks BRM again for keeping me inspired, and thanks to the bloggers out there who's blogs I may or may not have crept on to learn a few things.
GL to All and I hope to see some of you out there in the MTOPS!

This is an amazing set of results and many congratulations to you on achieving this. Too play in three tournaments in one night takes some doing but to win all three is freakishly good. I hope you continue on your good run and well done again to you

Congratulations my friend from the depths of my heart. Always love to hear stories of players having a good run and going deep in tourneys but three in a row seems to be extraordinary Worship . Nicely done!!!Wish you all the best to MTOP series you are planning to participate. Think you got what needs to run deep again despite large numbers of players planning the same too. But if the participants wouldn't be so many how prizepool could ever be that large?ha? Thumbs Up Thumbs Up (
Some piece of advice could be helpful for the rest of us Big Smile

Congrats on the results.
Its really good flow you've got no question about it, always good to pull an all-nighter with fantastic b2b results. Dont forget to say a prayer to the poker gods to make this happen more and more for you.
I have some rough time concentrating fully recently, but that nothing to do with my play rather some personal issues with my family so my advice (based on my experience) to try to keep the outside interference minimum as possible and you will continue to thrive at the tables without of doubt.

Congrats man!!

Pretty nice day you had.
What it is more impressive IMO is that you won in different poker modalities which is always tough.

You should change your nickname to EpicDay I guess Big Smile
I hope you can keep playing poker alive and win more tournaments soon.

Gl man and congrats once again!!!

Very, very, nice EpicFale (more like win in this case). Impressive you were able to bring your A game after an exhausting all nighter. You've got good focus. Keep it up. And good luck on the next table Smile

Nice thing to see you are doing great so far.
I wish you can get such results at MTOPS too and cash in big time.
I guess you have chosen the wrong nickname for the forum.
So far it is epicwin Smile like Arithmajik noted also.

Cheers nice win, you sure have the stamina and perseverance to pull an all nighter, i rather give up easily as I get tired and got work tomorrow. So pulling an all nighter is not a good idea.

So congratulations is in order, hope you play more of the MTOPS events and shipped those big ones and get lots of money.

Good luck mate, have fun at the table and do not burnout!!

Congrats dude.
Nice winning. 100 bucks per day is not that bad.
It was a very good and profitable day for you.
Good luck at the tables.
