Some time ago I played on these tournaments,I remember where about 1500-2500 players.Today I wanted to play one of these I registered in the first 5 minutes and there where about 1000 registered, but when tournament begins I was like Confused 6500 players registered and 10 minutes late registration still open..after that, was more than 7000 players.

How many of them are registered here?
Why they play,for 117 places?

Yeah thats why it is better to start early/evening in different timezone as most players are asleep. Also there is a new one party poker one just like pokerstars and full tilt will have less players so it is a good idea to join early to play against less players.

Anyway good luck and have fun!

Yep noticed that me too .Can't say why.But 6000plus players are enormous number. And the prize is one cent for being in the money. No thanks .To maka the difference for the leaderboard u have to finish third or more. Not even fourth place gives you a certain boost to maka your way to top200.But besides that number donks play the same and the field quickly cuts to normal number fast enough. The problem is that stack sizes are huge and the suckout waits.

haven't played in those for ages, but from what i hear op and others saying those freerolls became a total waste of time (not that they were a personal oil rig before), dunno guess those who are after leaderboard prizes do find some value her and there, but i am baffled bout those who only play it "as-is" just a $25 freeroll with 6K+ entrants

Its not a waste of time per se, its a waste of effort if you simply want to go itm every tourey you start in.
Its for leaderboard prizes- thats where the real money is, and three months should be more than enough to grind you a nice place in the first 30, or at least the top 200. Nothing value is lost since there is no real freerolls with imaginary good players and nice prize pool on PS anyway so if you only play freerolls and only playing them on the big two, you probably play with the same crowd and the same effort.
Stop playing on these frees like the rest of us did, and you could start developing real skills which actually help for you in the future at the tables.

That is why I don't play for the leaderboards anymore due to the size of the players in it and how long it takes now. Don't care about the money as it's all about the leaderboard, but the length and so many players put me off now, especially when it becomes a donkfest early on.

Yeah I agree with.

There are too many players even late in the night.
This is mainly cause the password is release to everyone in facebook and other websites, which make the freeroll available to everyone.

I still think that the ledearborad is pretty nice, but cause the number of players is too high it is hard to get in to the money.

Anyway I dont see what could be done to improve this situation.

Gl all!

Even FT is getting bad. Use to be under 800 now its getting closer to 2000, at least 153+ get paid in those and blinds go slower.

This is true.... I get one at 9:00pm Eastern here,...and then again at 1:00 am. They usually have about 1800 players at those times,...and it's fairly easy to get into the cash... All our European and elsewhere friends AND the majority of the Facebook Freerollin' ckocroaches are all tucked away to sleep in their little beds...and wallboards.... Sleepy<zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
