aye that takes me back a bit i used to do the exact same thing with 1 of my mates,after a night on the bevvy he used to suggest the casino and stupid me always said yes. Not once did i win when i had a drink in me,come to think of it i don't think he did either and at the time it was roulette i played whilst he was at the BJ table,god that 32 red has got a lot to answer for.

You had the pizza money haha, that's like the smallest consolation prize from losing that much loot. 600 is big hit. I found the times I played BJ I always lost big, most I lost was about 400 so not too dissimilar to your night. Drink and gambling = money for the casino, because you're not thinking straight.
Also BJ depends a lot on the other players - if they are s**t they often screw up hands that woulda been safe with people who know what they are doing. Only way round it is to have the last seat and decide the last cards.

Its always a great feeling gambling when you are drunk,but in the cold light of day its not the same story. I try never to gamble whan i'm drunk but like you say, the voices in your head take over and you always end up doing it

I do not gamble but i must admit that from time to time when you got that feeling i gamble a bit on poker but way too many times it was not profitable. I think next time i'll buy some mob draw tickets instead
