So after 2 days of playing the BrM freerolls over on Party Poker,...I must say... I have NEVER come across SO MANY donks...
Half the games I played yesterday and today were nothing but a bunch of bingo queens playing junk like no tomorrow... They shove SO much CRAP constantly,....you'd think you were at a table with ME over on PokerStars playing the: demodawggy's All In Shootout Donk Festival.
Not only that,...but I have to say that the software on PoopityPoker totally SUCKS. It's very glitchy...
...You type something in, hit send,...and your message gets erased and you have to retype it and retype it and retype it...etc...etc...etc...
...You scroll down on anything, and half the time it just KEEPS scrolling right past what you want to see...
...and it's a confusing tangle of mess,....very poorly planned and laid out format...
...it not only blocks out swear words,...but it also blocks out words like: idiot, moron, dummy,...etc...AND even the names of other pokersites...
PokerStars becomes: **********
FullTilt becomes: ********
I guess they figure THOSE qualify as swear words too... <lol...
Now that being said,...I actually don't mind the site with the exception that the prizes are paid out as Tourney Dollars, but as mentioned in other threads, that's easily remedied by playing tourneys and converting them to real money...
...and I must say, it's REALLY easy to get into the money. Out of the 9 tourneys I played in, I got into the cash 7 times. A few in the high teens, a 13th place,...and tonight I ended with a 3rd place finish for $1.75. It's really easy pickin' them donks off...!!!
2 day total: $2.93
That puts me in 63rd place. The leaderboard was updated this afternoon, so that should be fairly accurate and should hold. At that rate I'll be knockin' on MFZERO's door within a day or two...
All in all though,....I like playing there...

400 donks > 6000 donks.
AK suited might as well be a throw away hand on this site(no raise, no call, just fold it)
Never seen that hand lose so much to other peoples junk.
My Real Money win rate is kinda skewed. Played a $2 entry $1500 I won $6.35 for a 95th Finish.
Played a cash table lost a $5 hand on a FF table .02/.04 on a bad read(hit a nut straight, lost to a nut flush on the river.) Was up to $22 at a high for the day and went back to $16 when I stopped.
Cards look like s**t, when they first updated to this new look I had to turn 4 colour deck because Spades and clubs look identical. No other site does that.

I guess freerolls have this style of play anywhere and on any stakes simply because all those that play them know that they do not lose nothing if they bust...
i always said that for someone that already has a poker BR, freerolls are minus EV to play.

I have been playing these freerolls as well, i dont think that there are anymore donks than at any freeroll. I have enjoyed the tournaments i have played in and i normally just sit back for the first few levels and leave the all in merchants get taken out

...me too,...except I wait until right at the end of level 6. Just let the donks kill each other off. But even then, they still keep coming. Gotta be careful...they could suck out and destroy you...
Had a good game yesterday winding up at the final table with crash. Was quite enjoyable playing good poker and good chat... 4 Canuckistanis at the final...
crash is a good player,....I'm surprized he got knocked out before me. I think he got a 4th or 5th,...which in itself is a very respectable finish...!!!
Okay now,....if the BrM freerolls on the 3 sites were to be on the Olympic podium for highest degree of donk-iness, I figure:
PokerStars: Gold
PartyPoker: Silver
FullTilt: Bronze
...being, Full Tilt has the LEAST number of donks and is by far the BEST of the 3 to play. Not TOO many donks and has good quality of play,....even though it IS harder to win in.
PokerStars is the WORST for donk-factor, plus with only 5 minute blinds, a high number of entrants, and a low number of money positions... Tough going there... Although, I've managed to get on the Top 200 all 5 or 6 times since joining BrM, with 2 or 3 Top 30 money positions. Don't know how the hell I managed THAT feat...

Do you play in all of the leaderboards that BRM offers? You couldnt resist for some more nagging and whining over those games, huh? lol At least you are winning something and that calms you down a bit, but you keep writing a boot about them
The only good thing is that there isn't 7000 players playing for 117 places but yes you still get some idiots calling with Q5 off and hitting trips vs 1010 btw any new Canadian players too Party Pooper have all most a guaranteed 100 satellite ticket in that WPT Free roll Promotion haha just got donked out of another one AKVSA2 suited VS 53 off and the worst hand wins 53 off
