Liv Boeree for actress, she already popular in the poker world, she needs just one break and her acting character will start. Anyway always fun to watch her play and looks that she had some mental issues and managed to solve it by going to find a coach.
Best thing she ever did. Hehe, see how mental game is important here.
"Remember how I told you I was taking an acting class? Before I took off for the PCA, I finished the class series and took part in an onstage showcase at the end of it. I did a scene from the movie Closer where I played the Natalie Portman role and my scene partner took the Jude Law part. It was the scene at the climax of the movie when they've already broken up, got back together, have had all sorts of affairs and terrible things, and he's grilling her on whether she hooked up with another guy while they were apart. It's a very sharp, dialogue-heavy argument and it ends with her spitting at him and him slapping her in response! It's a very powerful piece and it was great fun. The thing that shocked me, though, was that I didn't have any nerves at all! I expected to have some jitters but I felt pretty confident and comfortable through the whole scene. And afterwards? What a rush!"
And thats why nobody gives a flying f*ck about your poker carrier anymore. Model/cardplayer/actress - is there anything in the world that this woman cant do? (making newsworthy posts)

She's a smart cookie and I think smart people often over analyse and overthink situations when it isn't necessary - not always a bad thing but at poker, which is a mind game, that mentality or way of thinking can be very damaging.
At least she realised there was something wrong and corrected it instead of bulldogging onward and losing more money and tournaments. Plenty of people in her position would have got arrogant and thought oh yeah its simply variance.

she might be having a good year so far, but id love to see if she could crack brm ps freerolls ! :o
Now THAT statement is HILARIOUS dude...!!! < lol...
If there is ONE thing I can say about the BrM freerolls on PokerStars,...they could be the great equalizer between pros and part-timers.... It's a level playing field where even the best and worst have an even chance of winning $5....lol...

I don't remember of hearing about so good results from a female poker pro in so few time, either i am a bit distracted with these things or the media aren't giving the same attention they used to give to these subjects (which seems to be used to be less than now). I'm glad for Liv!
