I'd like this but the owners really don't want it. Not sure why but a good middle ground would be to have it as a 'privilege' for posters with over say a 100 posts.

It has been discusses in the past a couple of times. And the conclusion is that this is never going to happen, for reasons that were actually quite good. One of those were that BRM wouldnt been able to control everything written in the site like now.
