There are lots of players trying to get into the money because of the leaderboard structure. Every penny counts when you are playing a leaderboard and to miss out by a few cents would be extremely frustrating.Good luck to all

So true pennies do count, lol. I was a little dissappointed today, I made a bit over $1 yesterday and the leaderboard bubble went up by about the same amount. Hopefully I'll be able to get a real nice top 5 today. Pennies so far.

Picked up .20c in the first game I played today...
In the 2nd,...I was 13 from the bubble,...got Qd 4d,...flop came down all diamonds. Heads up with a big stacker.... I shoved.... Ace high flush... BAM...he filled out his Full House...
RIGHT as I type...I am ON the bubble... 91/91... BB 2 away....
Somebody went out...now 89 left...looks like a min cash for ...

Joined here last week - these freerolls are addictive - lol. I've bombed out early in most of them, but got a 3rd place on one of the FullTilt ones. I'd need to do that again to get onto the table I think. Good luck. Maybe next month for me.

You MAY have been right there one spot up....BUT.....
...TOTALLY AGAINST what I said above about NOT jumping in the clown-car,....I went against my better judgement,...and 12 from the bubble, with PLENTY of chips to make it in.... I shoved my KK...
...some guy with Q 8 called..... I don't even know what he had,...all I know is the little window popped up to tell me I got boinked.... and I got the fcuk OUT of there as soon as possible....
What a WASTE.... 3 blown tourneys today when I was IN the money in all 3. I lost AT LEAST .60 leaderboard points...!!!....if not MORE...!!! I am so HOPPIN' f'ing MAD at myself right now....!!! Only picked up .38 on the day....

Ugh, that's really lame, I feel your pain. If it makes you feel better though I think you made the right call, doubling up on your preemo pairs would give you the best odds at FT and if you got an FT finish out of it it would probably bump you up a nice chunk of leader board change.
We both sucked today, hopefully those above us did worse, lol.

Not really too worried about those above.... I'm more concerned about the folks behing leap-froging over top...
Considering I started 8 days late, and missed about 6 tourneys since... I didn't do too bad. Just glad I at LEAST got into the cash... Still wouldn't mind a top 10 though... We'll see what happens...
As for you,...you need to make a move... crash still has a good chance too... I see he is always doing good and usually has a HUGE stack of chips...
ZERO is the one regular who is doing REALLY well... He's always MONSTER stacked.... HOW does he do it... vic too....
Made a another Party Poker final table finished 5th place for .90 that should keep me in top 10 time too smoke a nice fat cigar along with a cold frosty beer cheers GL

I have no use for the friend request system at all on PartyPoker normally, but you need some for some of the missions (when they bloody work), so I sent one over as I've seen you on here.
Good luck in that freeroll - both a bit short stacked now I reckon.

------------ Oh dude! I just realised that you have not been on PartyPoker long. That's awesome. You should enter all the New Player tournaments you can and the $5K Bankroll Boosters - (you probably know about them anyway, but hey) - I think you can play in them for 1month? 3 Months? I can't remember, I've played there a few years. I won one of those new player tourneys a few years back - $1 entry and $250 1st prize. The Bankroll booster things are good too for free entry if you like that sort of thing.

I play a wider range of hands than you? I play position, bluff when applicable, trap donks. I got knocked out early in the two I played, lost with KK in one.

I played Axis and Allies a bunch of times as a kid, it really is a great war game. Be prepared to dedicate the better part of a day though, lol. Good ol' world domination.

Well,...I just finished in about 750th of about 8,700 entrants in the $5,000 Cash Booster on Party Poker using 1 of the 2 Booster tics I have.... Pick up a WHOPPING $2.... I consider myself VERY lucky in THAT one,.... I got to the bubble (1,150th place) with about only 100 chips,...thought I'd was a goner,....but when the game restarted after hand for hand,... I was IN.....and then won the hand and went a little deeper.
Started paying at $1,...then $1.50,...then $2... What a relief after playing all that time.... Out of 8,700 entrants,...to bubble out within a margin of ONE of 8,700 would be HARD to gag down...
I play position, bluff when applicable, trap donks.
