Depends for what purpose I listen to it. When playing poker probably party/techno/house music because it keeps me focused, awake and never gets boring (to me at least). If for no purpose it depends on my mood, but I general I listen to every genre that is still current, depending on my mood, can be R'n'B,rock, whatever

ok some very mixed music styles are posted here: a friend of me also likes dutch gabber and hardcore music too and terrorized me whith it since 2 decades now !! i like the slower and more "minimalistic" side of electronic music like robert babicz - marek hemmann or matador...

I like all sorts of music, but when I'm playing poker I like to have loud music, preferably industrial, EBm like Combichrist or psyclon 9. It keeps me allert and awake.

Wow, diverse! My mp3 is loaded with a mix, from Gordon Lightfoot and Cat Stevens, through the doors, PinkFloyd(poss. Fav.), Rammstein and Eminem, with some Bach and Mozart thrown into the mix! Phisix - I used to love Jamaroquai. The Brand New Heavies too.
I also like some prog rock (I'll watch that Genisis live thing later demo) and guitar stuff like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. Jazz and Soul. And some classical stuff and solo fingerpicking guitarists like Pierre Bensusan and Tommy Emmanuel.

got to be Greenday for me,been a fan since 1994...Basketcase.(reminds me of a lot of poker players) but i still love listening to the old ska stuff and rap from Ice T and Cube,the modern music is not my thing. phisix Jamiroquai is the choosen music when im painting and decorating...
