An ex of mine said this to me yesterday... she said in 50 years time, no one would remember who I was, that I have no impact on the people around me, and need to start living instead of just shuffling my feet.....
Now - I don't believe that is true, so any suggestions on how I can prove her wrong?..... or if she isn't wrong, any suggestions on how to add purpose and remove dullness?
I am sure if you win The Sunday Million all of your so called friends will change their mind and will explain you how perfect you are, and will appear more "friends" telling you are God! So, don't pay attention to people what they are saying.
The main question here is: Do you like your life what it is now! Do you feel happy when playing poker? Do you want to change anything in your life? If the answers are positive to all these questions, that means you are enjoying your life, and you don't need advices. The most important thing is what is your opinion about your life, because you are controlling your life, due to free will. Yes, we all have individual destinies, but we also have free will and we can modify our path of living.
Am I happy of what I am doing in my life? If the answer is: Yes, continue that way, my friend. The most important opinion is your opinion. Because this is your life! Don't be afraid of what others are saying! Just be youself! Don't try and pretend to be another person, just because others are saying to you what your purpuse of life has to be!
PartyPoker and Titan Poker were the companies which showed me the land of poker in 2009. They teached me about all these poker games and I discovered a new world. I wanted to quit my job, because my contract didn't allowed me to play poker. When I quit my job, I had to wait one year and then started to play poker for real money. But I had to wait one year, because it was said in the contract when you quit the job you are not allowed to play poker one year ofter quitting your job. The fines were huge, so I waited and I am pretty happy of what I am doing!
When I won a serious amount of money in January and gave it to my parents, they have changed their mind about me playing poker! Unfortunately, people think positive about poker only if you win big money, otherwise they think you are a gambler with serious problems. They think poker is somekind of bingo or casino game, but this video explains everything well!

Why would you want to prove anything to her? In 5 years time you may not even remember who she was...
If you want to prove anything, prove it to yourself instead.
