unibet poker-views on new software  0
Hi,what do you guys think of the new Unibet poker software?I have mostly been playing on the Ipoker network and have now played on unibet for about 20 sessions.
My concern is that the cards seem to play very strangely, reminds me of an old xbox or nintendo game, one thing i have noticed is a lot of flops come down paired, not sure of the proper odds for a pair on the flop but it happens often.Another thing is there seems to be a lot of high connecting flops and most of the time the table seem to have 2 very good hands. Also you don't seem to get pocket pairs very often.
This is not a bad beat post as i have tripled my deposit and have done ok but it just doesn't feel like poker somehow.
Maybe i have just noticed a lot of coincidences so would love to hear what you guys think.

So you are more complaining about RNG and not that much about on how the poker software looks...

I did not tried the new unibet software but it seems more and more software updates are a downgrade compared to the old version that the other way around lol

I am not complaining at all,i wanted to hear other peoples views on the new software,i think the graphics are fine, except sometimes the winning chips are moved across to the winner a split second before the river has hit the table.
As i said i am used to Ipoker and maybe it is their software that i should be asking about.
If anyone has played the new software then let me know what you think.

yeah it is coincidences in my opinion, so you can still play there but if you played on the old unibet software you would not want to play in the new one it is soft in the new one but you cannot multi table. You used to be able to multi tale properly and use softwares. Now you cannot and it is mainly for fishes. So super soft on the upside.

Have fun there if you play 1 table and for fun!

The totally dumbed down the whole shebang (initially that was their goal), you cant choose tables, you cant choose opponents, there isnt a wild range of games available, and the tourys almost every time six seats.
I liked microgaming, there was plenty mad and rich idiot here on u.nibet who poured the money they made on bets onto the card tables - so its worked for me years and years. I still like this site, cuz their paying on time and have a good bet selection, but I dont think I ever going to made another depo here just for the p.oker alone.
Thr RNG could be worse, but no adjustment could make this site the same again as once was from a p.oker standpoint, so I stopped playing here early march.

I dont understand why such move from them. Microgaming had and still has a good amount of
players. Is it a new network or they have developed their own client like others did?
If the players are getting less there and its hard to find a table like bowie says,
they will have to rethink their decision.

They already evaluated their options thats why they ended up with this travesty.
They developed their own client, and maybe the client is the only thing I like on the site right now (altough its goddamn ridiculous that they didnt have build-in update process, you have to reinstall the client every time manually).
The rest is the problem. They unofficially said that they wanted a user-friendly enviroment for recreational players and thats what they got. But no good player will take them seriously anymore, thats 4 sure.

The whole update thing looks very " amateur" job for me, at least for the site they used to be.
From your description it seems they are going downhill, at least in poker,
since they are a big name in betting world.

Just been on unibet opened client it tells me client has been closed since november 2013, the second time says servers are down anyone no whats going on

------------
ok the site sucks. graphics are pretty but in general everything else sucks
the free $10 has a 7 day rolling clause that snatched my money so i didnt even see the site in full.
to be honest 300 players all playing nlh cash games so no one on sit and go no one in tournaments.
not what i was hoping for expected more.

I never played a lot on unibet, mostly because their poker client always sucked and even with the "new" version it didn't really improve..
Im kinda dissapointed because all other services they provide (i like the sports section most) are good quality and easy to start.

I hope one day they will start using another or perhaps merge with another poker network and start hosting more games while improving the traffic.

Not sure if they still do that but they have the bad practice that on every new player that register they block your account from day one...

Then you get an email saying that you need to prove your ID, if you already make your first deposit it's really nasty to get your account suspended Thumbs Down

They clear it once you send them a photocopy of your state issued ID card/passport.
My reg there dates back to 2006 I think, yet they asked me to go through this one and a half year ago. Whit many depo and withdrawal already happened they just thought they want to know me better after five years.

Its no biggie, it only lasts 3-5 days.

I have an account at unibet, with about the grand total of 0.19c in it. May be I should pop along there this Easter week sometime and see what's going down and take a look at the new software and see if I can build my stash there to a few dollares. Will update my thoughts here after next weekend.

Hmm if you could play with this new software kudos to you, tried it for several days again and got pretty fed up but try to continue but I gave up too slow and not much action and thus leading to me playing crap and loading other sites instead. But too much poker software makes my pc lags lol. Anyway good luck there and keep us updated on what happens!
