Not sure why everyone keeps bashing the victim here? I spoke to OP on Skype and he's much nicer then he projects himself on this forum which is understandable imo.
Also he clearly asked for a rapid transfer since he needed the money immediatly. Obviously quite desperate. Hence the $40 fee, I really think this should be punished.
OP is basicly living without cash until Monday, which is his own fault. But Peter made it much worse, I really hope Peter will do the right thing and ship $215 today.

Hey Admin, I am waiting the money to arrive into my bank account and then immediately I will deposit the amount at my PokerStars account and then transfer it back to that guy, to his PokerStars account. I don't know how to revert a payment from VISA! The money are in arriving process to my bank account, right? How to stop that, I don't know.
Last time when I cashedout from FullTilt it was for two days to apear in my VISA, but the PokerStars cashout was approved yesterday (friday) 5:00 p.m EET, today is saturday and tommorow is sunday, non busines days, so it has to arrive in monday I think.
Silly me I did a stupid action for $40. But this is my lesson for the future!
Dear Ahmed, I am not a thief. When I send you back the money into your PokerStars account, then I will post a screeshot here of my transaction.
hmidou just chill man. Your attitude got you in this situation.
You were insulting me as well when i was giving advices and nowhere in the thread did i insulted you nor will i go down to that level.
If you did this in more serious fashion, you would attract serious people willing to help.
I agree that some people in this thread are far off the line but ask yourself why they act that way even tho you have all the proof. You gave your money to the first person who said yes while ignoring all other advices and insulting everyone else. You can call one person stupid but you can't call half of this site stupid. That's stupid in itself.
Don't want to rub it in your nose but look at the situation objectively. Cheers

But cmon Peter, you knew you couldn't provide him with the money rapidly.
Then why do it?
I mean I like you as a poster cuz I have read many of your messages and I know you always try to help. But a man is basicly broke for 2 days because of this, why don't you just send him the $215 regardless of when the transfer will arrive?
If you do a swap like this can't he expect that you will have $215 to your availability.
I'm not gonna say more because this is you guys their issue.

I thought you already had the money in your bank, hence you taking his money in the first place for the exchange. Confused.com.

Have you made cashout from a poker site with VISA? If you did, you should know for how many days it will arrive into your bank account. I check my email every hour for the bank report to see if there are movements to my account.
If someone gives you a Switzerland phone number and want you to send him the money in France what would you think? Would you pay with your own money, or you will wait his money to arrive into your bank account. Like someone said something about VISA that they can block funds if something is not right!
As I said I will post a screenshot here after sending his money. Trust me I want to finish this very soon and to end it.

I am not here to beg for people's mercy or pettiness. i came here to get some help, not for free though, but the helper turned out to be a scammer and robbed me. it is very natural that i hate my scammer in every despiteful expression, and whoever sides with him by the way. of course all of you like him, he's your fella and above all he robbed u no money. but sorry i have one thousand reasons, 215 dollars, 2 anxious nights and a couple of embarrassing situations to hate him. i feel equally disgusted of his fans and the ones asking him to keep my money in his pocket. he has my money while i am now borrowing money to go back home. and he had my money when the hotel keeper was shouting at me for not paying my dues. now give me moral and lectures about money management and credit card use.. this will make me only hate him more and hate further whoever eludes the fact that peter the thief fooled me around while he was broke, pennyless and desperate to play at the zoom tables. he spent one whole night urging me to send the money, he knew very well who i was, where i came from and what i was doing.. and suddenly when he got the 215 bucks in his pocket.. guess what.. he became suspicious.................... the guy has just nothing in his credit card or bank account and pretended he could swap with me. very smart, but very shameful and mean. So no sir, do not expect me to be nice after all this with whoever sides with the thief. meanwhile, the thief is enjoying poker games with my money and making profit on my trouble.

Wacko season.
@ Peter:
Usually takes three days for Poker site withdrawals to clear for me. All I was saying was I thought you "already" had money in your bank account and thus could do a straight swap with him. Just confused about it myself, but then again I would have not bothered doing it with some random member in the first place, you get me.

Well i know the whole story now. That isn't my point.
My point is i wanted to know that story before so i could help you for example. Get it ? Noone in his right mind would do this without any information. Your story is irrelevant now at least to me. You attract wrong kind of people with that approach, especially on internet. I can't break your nose via web if you screw me and vice versa so i choose who to trust carefully.
Anyways this thread is getting ridiculous noone accepts any facts or part of their blame in this even tho you both share it so i ll just stfu and move on.

well there is a lesson to be learned here and sorry hmidou, you learned the hard way. One of the problems faced in the poker world is greed, and when a person thinks they can earn a quick $40.00, they do what they can and not think of the consequences of their actions. And of course both parties are at blame in this. This kind of thing should have never been offered to a complete stranger, or been accepted , knowing they couldn't fullfill the agreement. It's too bad that hmidou will have to wait untill mon or tue to receive his money back. but that is the risk you take when you get yourself involved in these kind of situations.
This topic is just too rich of content, I've been really awed by it. But again, nobody can look away from a car crash.
Besides that Peter didnt even had money on his acc which was necessary to begin with to compensate his end of the deal, I've never been to a hotel in my life, where they didnt began my check-in to ask a credit/debit card to deposit an amount that they later give me back, just to make sure I wont took off without pay nor damage their room beyond repair.
I cant say anything new about this deal besides that the forum terms should be read out loud (by mandatory) whenever these kinda topics occur time to time.
