Knowing the odds is a very fundamental part of playing poker. There is no point calling a 8/1 shot when you are getting only 2/1, but a lot of players do and this will lead to losses in the long run
Ronin, I feel, that you don´t understand the combinatorics in Poker correctly.
The odds of you hitting your draw (!important!...WITHOUT KNOWING your opponents cards and burned cards!!) in a 6man game are EXACTLY the same as the odds you would have in a 10man game.

I regret so many times for not having the chance to use an odd calculator. I used to use one free available at a site and, besides not beginners any tool full of extras, it let me insert my cards, number of players playing the hand and the table cards. And sometimes I got surprised either by the odds on my side and also the opposite. I felt like having an advantage towards my opponents but then the tool just disappeared. ..

Well thats a good post. I see your profit has been up and down like a whores knickers. Mine has been equally bad, actually far worse. I was up to $160 from a $40 deposit. Now down to $14..terrible.
