Evening / morning all,
Just took down the monthly leaderboard tourney on FTP for $286. I'm very happy since I only managed to scrape into the top 200 with 2 final table finishes in the last 2 freerolls of month.

Congrats...
I went out fairly early - I had AK and raised or called a raise pre flop. It came 4 6 K or something like that and I raised again. The guy that knocked me out shoved all in... I thought maybe he had trip 4s or 6s, out side chance on Kings or a 2 pair. But why raise preflop with a 6 or a 4?... or maybe he just had a king.. I thought I'd chance it as I would have the better kicker.... He just had a pair of jacks, so I was quite pleased with the call... until his J came in on the river - lol. Enjoyed what little of the game I did play. Thanks brm.

That is one of the good reasons playing the BRM freerolls and participating in the leader board. And you dont need to be in the top places to win some extra money from it. Well done to all the winners. First place was worth it. demodawggy you were in the winners list?

Posted by teddybears73: Well done there hooley i'll need to keep my eye out for you in this one,and i hope you spend it wisely.
Yup, just need to apply some proper bankroll management now. I got 7th place in the xmas BRM freeroll as well, and subsequently manged to grind that up to $600 playing low buy-in MTTs. I then started playing $30 heads up and soon went bust.
------------ Thanks for all the kind words guys. Hopefully I can build from here and report back with more positive results.

Many congratulations to you for taking down this event. To win one of these freerolls is a great achievement and you must have played very well. You always need a fair bit of luck as well but you must have been playing well
