You're a star ....not to mention clearly someone with excellent taste in music too
...Just so you know, I wasn't fishing for help here - those of you that have known me a while will know I'm always willing to try and build my bankroll from scratch, grinding the freerolls and whatever else I can find... but the help IS very appreciated still
...and I know you'll say you don't want anything back - but I like to repay good deeds one way or another

Posted by ddblt1970: Probably a bad bankrollmanagement.
To be honest... it was because of that. It was because I'd set unattainable targets, and was trying to force it to meet them. Meaning I played in tournaments I know I shouldn't have played in with the bankroll I had, and made calls that I otherwise wouldn't have made.
All the time, I knew I was going wrong, but did nothing to put it right.
Lesson learned. Knowing what to do is one thing... actually sticking to it and being disciplined is another entirely.
You should never give up i will try to be a profit player second time and i think that this is the time when i will win , more education more training with better players and results will come faster than you see

I lost my donation the other day, I met my silver star status goal but it was like pulling teeth to pull off. Anyways I am in the same boat, rebuilding from scratch, however I was just offered a job making a ton of money so when I can I am going to splurg and deposit 250 bucks on pokerstars...if I lose that bankroll I will quit poker.

Congratulations on your new job. It is something more secure than poker since the income is steady no matter what. As long as you work of course Better luck with your new poker quest, when that happens. Dont start with such a high bankroll though. Deposit less and start from low.

Good luck on your new job, wait a few months before you toss that $250 in , so you know the job is secure.
