i would say 20 buy ins should be the absolute minimum,i love to play with 50 buy ins because unless you play higher you wont go broke ,,if you have 30-50 buy ins you arent doing anything wrong,but always remember the higher the buy in the more conservative shoudl your bankrollmanagement be,because it makes a difference if you lose 5 buy ins in a row on 1 dollar tourneys or on 10 dollars or 20 dollar tourneys ,if you lose 5 buy ins on 1 dollar tourneys you only lost 5 bucks,in 20 dollar sngs its 100 dollars ,and a lot of people cant deal with losses like that

I would suggest to you to check your ROI and your stats at each level to better understand at what level your skills allow you to play. Let's say between 20 and 35$
