Bad beats throw your whole game   +1
I am always successful when playing poker building up a large stack from a small one but then i seem to get a bad beat and my whole game goes to pot and i try to recover the money lost in the bad beat quickly but i just end up losing .Then instead of rebuying with a small stack again or going on another table with a small stack i put double what i usually put on to try and compensate for what i have lost but it is stupid i know but i cant seem to help it its like a drug for to try and recover the high of being up .The other day i had built up to $40 from 10 on a 25/50NL and i got kk and every one folded except this one guy who took me all in and like a fool when i knew he had AA i called i just couldnt put them down the k on the flop flashed in my mind and with a press of the button my whole $40 was gone in one bad call .After that i moved onto the 50/1 and played rubbish and lost all my bank roll .Greed is out to get me i think lol

first of all that is why people use bankroll managment wich means that u never take more than a small part of your bankroll to the tables some say 2 percent, otheres say 5 percent and some very aggresive guys even 10 percent, this is very important because wining isnt the only thing a poker player has to deal with there will also be bad beats and if you go broke on a bad beat you definately did something wrong,
dont want to be a smartass and all ,i know what im talking about because i have been there several times, try to play after strict rules and learn losing Smile

This sound familiar to me, I usually start out pretty well, untill I loose a game with having a big hand, want to win it back and from then on it's all going down the hill Aww crap!
BTW are most people playing Limit or No Limit ?

Wrong thinking tbh. You SHOULDNT try to recover from your losses, but move on and think of it as...necessary losses Smile part of your poker winnings are made from losing so just move on and play your A game

it's always sad to hear that someone lost against AA with KK. Unlucky... You made a mistake - risked your whole bankroll. it seems that you're a short time winner which means you make some profit but you lose it in a long time period. Look after bankroll management tips.

,so the more money you have ,the bigger tables you can play,if you go too hard to soon u a shot duck.i find on the days of bad beats,or keep gettibg rivered, just leave the table for a couple hours it helps,a few days better. Big Smile
