I respect everyone's opionion but I really do not understand why people consider action poker to be one of the best poker sites. Action POker has too few players and in addition there are too few available tournaments. You have to wait for hours to have a sit and go with a buy in higher that $3 to be full! And personally I don't like the graphic either. I think that Pokerstars of FullTilt or PKR can be considered to be good poker clients. Not ACtion POker in any way!

I like FullTilt and PokerStars the best. I don't like action that much because the player traffic is really low. You can barely multitable, you can't center. I love playing 7CardStud but no1 is ever playing 7CardStud there.

I've just started playing at Action Poker and yes I like it, but there's like 2000 players! I like the games but you can only really play the ones that others have joined, which are mostly at really low limits.

After a sabbatical due to emigration I haven't been playing for a while now. I don't know ActionPoker at all but I love their pro-active approach being shown on this thread. You've sold me, my application is in! (username:fishplaps if it speeds things up )
I've heard a lot about PKR but it just sounds too fancy-dan for me, I'm a simple man of simple tastes.

Nice poll but how on earth could you leave out Pokerstars?!?
Agree with those who put Action Poker at the bottom of their list. It's more fun playing in rooms with lots of action and juicy rewards and thus Pokerstars comes out on top. My list(s) would be:
For a donk/fish like me a site like Pokerstars is great for learning - and probably great for those with more experience as well because of players like me. Lots of freerolls, amazing guaranteed tourneys (every night 20:10 (GMT+1) 40.000 $ Gtd for 3 + 30 w/Rb - usually pays about 20$ if you get in the money and saved my ass several times......6-7000 players - finish 1000th and get paid about 20$ - GREAT DEAL!). Also love their "Double or nothing" Sit'n'go - but most of all - instant action.
Also like FullTilt mainly for their freerolls and qualifiers. Always lots of action and good variation in skill among the players). Not to fond of their layout though....
PartyPoker I use mainly for training - lots and lots of freerolls, lots of action but horrible layout in the client. Anyone else experience trouble with constant reminders in browser about their new table layout?
Even though I put Action Poker at the bottom they have potential but need to do something different in order to attract more players. I would suggest more freerolls and at least one big Gtd-tourney a day with a relatively low buy-in. As I see it freerolls can only do you good - more players come to your room and more would probably stay and eventually deposit.

I was shocked at how Action poker handled my disconnection claims and after 7 days still nothing back.... i lost over $260 youd think they would look in to it a bit harder. They claim ignorance instead of helping me out and giving straight answers. Very disappointed really. Action poker is in my bottom 2 at the moment,
