Hiya guys im just wanting to ask a couple of things, first is,i was wanting to withdraw from partypoker, need to verify myself,my passport expired 6 months ago, they wont accept it,i used it on here a long time ago and thought that might count, they said no. they accepted a deposit from me (required for a withdrawl) then say they dont think im me????
second is,i won a ticket to the london EPT and they wont let me play because of the same reason,my thing is,if they say its required from the government that i produce proof, why is it they can take our money without proof??? sorry this is long but callie28 is pissed off, peace mobsters...

i know exectly what you mean !! and you are right....they take your money without proof because that is from what they live !! in my opinion the rooms have to many power in the unregulated online poker market to do what they like (to freez accounts whithout proper reasons for example) that is the main argument for a regulated online poker market
but like said before the have to accept a driver license or a passport

well i am sure you have other valid documents that can prove your identity - drivers license, id card (that's not the same as passport back here in Lithuania, not sure bout UK). i assume you are not planning to live with expired passport forever, if it's the case of you're in the middle of process of getting a new one, then you can get some temporary legal paper from the passport issuing authority... btw you should ask party dudes what other docs they accept- i'm sure you will get thought this successfully. update us.

I made deposit and withdrawal's there for 10 years. then about 2 yrs ago they did the same thing, wouldn't let me withdraw, until i sent them my id . must have been some new regulation came up as part of their licence.
Had the same problem deposited and withdraw no problems for 4 years then had too upload government id so uploaded driver's license and problem solved health card will probably work also.

Well bad luck for you, partypoker sucks with their customers you should have cashed out to skrill or neteller and put your money on other poker sites , they are far better in terms of software and so on, also the bonuses are better. Anyway sad you have to go through some bad experience with partypoker but now you know they suck so go away from them and only play freeroll there if software crashes!

I made a £50 cash out from Partypoker a few weeks back but I never needed any proof of I.D. Just needed to have deposited from the same place I want to withdraw from.

Don't give up on the site just cos they want to ensure they know who you are and to whom they are sending your money. Hopefully you have someone papers and can prove to them your I'd so give it a go and play the game by th e rules and all will be fine I am sure.

You shpuld have known this by now after playing for such a long time, that at some point they may ask you about papers. I believe only the ticket worth the renewal of your passport. Dont think it will be a hassle for you to do it, besides paying some fees.

If they are going to shout down sending a complaint at this point, wont matter i believe. What they will do to them. Revoke their license? They are shutting anyways. Whos gonna chase them after that. Just pray on their good will
