I had my second successive winner yesterday, at the odds of 9/4. Today's selection is, Longhousesignora in the 12.40 at ludlow. This horse is pretty sure to love the softer conditions today and can step up on her chasing debut, which was a pretty good effort over a trip that was always going to be on the sharp side for her. No luck with yesterday's selection. Today's selection is, Blakerigg in the 1.55 at Market Rasen. This horse showed marked improvement last time out when winning readily. This was his first run after having a wind operation and i do not think that we have seen the ceiling of this horses' ability. William Hill go 7/4

Long time since I have taken part in this thread. There is one horse that I backed last time, after speaking to some stable hands, and found that this horse today, (Cobolobo, 1:30 Wincanton), whatever, he does today, he has entries in some higher grade handicap later on in the season. I will be having a few quid on, but will be more interested to see how he stands up.

My selection was withdrawn yesterday. Today's selection is, inch Lala in the 1.10 at Sedgefield. I think this horse is going to improve a lot for going chasing and seemed to really take to it last time out when finishing third. The softer conditions look like it will suit, which is not the case for the other fancied horses' in this race, and it all points to a good run today. William Hill go 7/4

My horse finished in 3rd place, and has reportedly ate up well. It is expected to show better next time, and will be running on Boxing day or the following day.

My last selection was a winner, at the odds of even money. Today's selection is, Findusatgorcombe in the 1.10 at Fontwell. This horse comes into this race with good chasing experience, which cannot be said for the other fancied horses in this race, and should give another good account on a track which suits. William Hill go 7/2

My selection finished second yesterday. Today's selection is, Premier Rose in the 1.00 at Leicester. This horse has won its last two races and really does seem to appreciate the good ground. This horse looks like it will handle the faster conditions, which none of the others can say, and might well have not stopped winning yet. William Hill go 9/4

My selection won yesterday, at the odds of 3/1. Today's selection is, Muckle Roe in the 1.55 at Warwick. This horse really loves it around here and, i think, that is vital. The fences come thick and fast around here and, if you do not jump soundly which this horse does, you could find yourself losing ground at every opportunity. William Hill go 4/1

My selection finished second yesterday. Today's selection is, Singlefarmpayment in the 2.30 at Cheltenham. If ever a horse deserves a win, it is this horse. Time and time again he has looked like winning a bug race and come up just short. If consistency counts for anything then today could well be his day. William Hill go 13/2

My only horse racing tip is this: The sport kills so many perfectly good horses, annually. As much as I enjoy gambling - there's just sooooo many ways to gamble without harming such big, beautiful creatures such as a Horse.
Hell - there's even computer-generated horse races you can bet on if you really need *that* particular fix. I know it's nothing alike, just a joke really.
But in all seriousness - Horse racing WILL one day be banned and future human's will look back on us as though we were monsters - get on the RIGHT side of history - and don't support such a violent industry by placing racing bets.
Same goes for Grey-hound racing, maybe even more so. My wife recently adopted a Grey-hound through an ex-racing program. The poor girl's so terrified of everything and lacks so many basic things most 4yr old pups like doing - like knowing how to play catch/fetch etc. She's scared of people, other dogs, etc.
She thinks everything (especially food) is a trick.
if you move, she acts like you're about to beat her with your hand.... hmm...
Seriously - spend a day with this dog and you would hate EVERYONE involved in the greyhound racing industry. They kill even more dogs per event than the horse racing. And there's even LESS love generally speaking for the contestants (they live a much less "respected" life than a prize race-horse).
At any rate - any animal racing sport, the brutality is only one order of magnitude below direct-violence sports like cock-fighting (chicken fighting if that got censored).
One day we'll view this amount of violence the same way, if there was the occasionally injury or even death, no one would care that much. But the reality is, some larger yearly events (such as my native Melbourne Cup) have had deaths and/or injuries the last few consecutive events! That's beyond an acceptable rate.

My selection finished second yesterday. Today's selection is, Ozzie The Oscar in the 1.20 at Cheltenham. Even though this horse was a little disappointing last time out, i still thought that it was a pleasing first run of the season. If coming on for that run, he should be right there at the business end today. William Hill go 7/2
