This is a poker forum and poker is what all we have in commun; but there is a Off-Topic section, where this post was made. I agree politics and religion are very sensible topics, but some times we just need to express ourselves; why don't use this section of the forum for this porpuse? No insults, of course.

Do you: - think about those buddhist monks who burning themselves to death cuz' China destroying their thousand years old culture in Tibet? - think about all those girls that the Boko Haram abducted (and possibly raped)? - think about all those children who fight in the name of Joseph Kony? - think about those immigrant children from those drug cartell ruled Central American countries who tried to cross the border of the United States? - think about those syrian rebels who brought a civil war to their country which escalated by the help from both the US and Al-Qaeda? - think about all those people form Iraq who got butchered by ISIS (practically their own kind) cuz' they happened to be at wrong side of Islam? - think about all those women who are suffering in India by the rape-epidemic from this last couple of years or those in Afghanistan and Pakistan who's face and body got mutilated or burned by acid cuz' some local nuts or their own family got worked up on their 'indecent exposure'? - think about all those body bags (by the hundreds if not thousands) which get thrown around every day in Mexico during this recent Drug War?
This list is far from being complete. Pick your next battle to have something 4 crying out loud about on the internet... Its an endless task, but again - social justice warriors don't fight on pokerforums.

Unfortunately in these types of conflicts the average person is the last person who the politicians listen to. Should we be talking about politics and war on a poker site?In an ideal world a poker site should be about poker but as we all know,the people who pay the ultimate price for political failures are the average men,women and children who just want a peaceful life. A few months ago we were all watching a political protest in Ukraine. Today,23/7/14 at 15:55, I am watching hundreds of victims being taken one by one into a huge convoy of funeral cars,these people from all around the world had nothing to do with politics in Ukraine but their plane was destroyed there. The people on flight MH17 who just wanted to go on holiday or go to a work conference or to go and watch their football team play,they no longer have a voice. If someone wants to have their say on any kind of forum then let them have a chance. You do not have to listen. Until you have no choice.
