init i agree as a bat or quadz would not beat str8 flush only hand that would is a royal or beta str8 flush so he must of felt pretty good about his hand or a complete donk lol!

Think I saw the same episode of after dark you are talking about B1gfoot but I also cannot recall who it was. All I know is checking or calling with the absolute nuts on the river is the dumbest thing you can do and I have seen it at a table too.

Lol yeah ive seen a few players before that bet minimum or just call with the absolute nuts, it's mostly the type that limp AK suited and just call a raise.Hard to read but with a note added to them they are easy money.

i'v seen ppl check the nuts before cos they kno theyr not gonna get calld and wana show the hand. i had straight flush earlier and was peeved all i won was twice the blinds. i seen someone check the nuts in last pos on tv too. they got told off cos they say it may be seen as soft play. esp in a tournament where u win points.
perhaps also they misread their hand. strait flush can sometimes b mistaken for just a flush

I believe it was Jennifer Tilly - although she didn't have the ABSOLUTE nuts - she had the second nuts - and checked the river with a full huse because she was worried that her opponent (Erick Lindgren, I believe) was trapping with 4 kings rofl - good thing she's pretty, because she sure ain't too bright!
