Poker Stars introduces casino games  0
With the start of the new month Stars has added casino games to its clientsoftware for the regulated spanish market. The italian version is expected this year too, while a wider rollout is planned for 2015.

So the last bastion of pure p0ker has fallen. What do you think?

I don't like it, Pokerstars has made their money and is not a beginning site who needs to make millions from pure "the house wins". It should really keep being that pure poker site. Casino's at pokersites are really bankroll-wasting!

yeah thanks to full tilt they tested it on fulltilt first, with the jackpot SNG and saw that there was a market there and thus they introduced that on poker stars it is like the flip out tournaments all over again and fulltilt becomes the testing field now, and there was the casino there first with BJ and so on though adrenaline rush was a fail! Anyway they ding it so that most money come there way and not on other players pockets. Good luck still a good site and have lots of traffic!

Yeah, those are so stupid... It's just paying rake directly to your pokersite! WTF! It's very stupid... (IMO) Aww crap!

Well for me there no problem I don´t play any casino games Confused Confused
Still a great poker site and it will always be the biggest of the market just a way to increase the mumber of players ans the chance for them to make more money Big Smile Big Smile
For me is just the poker tables but some people may take the chance of playing some casino games hoping to cash some bucks

I do not care that with the start of this month PokkerStars has added casino games to its clientsoftware, because I usually do not play casino games. So I just do not click on the button and keep playing poker.

There is so many casino site on the web and from what i see here a lot of them are not to reliable.

Do Poker Stars with teir reputation on deposit and cash out would probably got customer from other casino or at least keep their members that are customer of casino. I think its a good move from them Smile Smile Smile

Same ideeas here. They should keep their reputation as pure poker place. When I hear or see Pokerstars, the first thing that comes in my mind, is poker, not a damn casino. It's bad, really bad. Maybe they can not "feed" all the bribery they have to pay. Jessus. God help us all!

At the moment the situation is not that bad, as the only casino games at Stars are Blackjack and Roulette. No slot games to suck emty a bankroll in no time. So it could be much worse.

I believe it I s like you said. At the moment Smile Since they started adding casino games,
then the slots wont take long to follow. Why not after all since the return they get from such games is even bigger than the one from poker.

I dont like it at all, because i have problems with casino games.
PS was my last resort, but if that goes, i think i quit playing poker at all, because i cant stay off casinogames, if pokersite is offering it.
Im losing player, so no big deal, but in poker i lost waaay more slowly and i got some fun out of playing.
