I think that playing tight early on in a tournament is the right way to go. You are so deep stacked, that it makes sense to wait and look for really good spots before risking chips

I have to say when you are deep stacked is the time to see as many flops as possible for cheap. You can get in there with some speculative hands and make "Gin" to win some huge pots to set up your deep run in the tournament. Phish while you can afford to but don't go crazy on draws and lose your stack.

I would be mean and raise more pots pre,instead of seeing a flop cheap,... Not always ofcourse but more i recon then u think,,.. Its all about playing poker at the right time with the right chips
