Position is very important.. a lot of ppl don't even care if they are cut off.. u have to play more loose when the blinds are higher.. then usually the table is not at 10 players anymore.. maybe e.g. at 6 players.. so you should play cards like AJ in later games.. but not in the very beginning..

Stacksizes and the specific opponent are important factors when you need to make a decision wether to call all-in or not.

Im not too fancy about tourneys but it sounds like you play standard weaktight in mid-level of tourney which will require good cards to overcome and make it very hard to win. You gotta steal with pos. and maybe more important re-steal alot on the mid stages.
