I like to listen to advise, specially if they are as good as your above stated one Smile
Tthere is always something good in an advise (or most of the time it is), so please do not hold back on it!!

Thanks for your comments. It sure is hell getting there and the only reason why I don´t need the mental hospital is because I am a hopeless case without any chances of getting back to normal Blink
Been trying the past days to follow up on the success - NO SUCCESS so far. Will simply try again and again. As I expect you to try over and over again, too! Thumbs Up

Congrats and it can be a hair puller...

I have managed 2 final tables with one of them ending up in 2nd.....

Both have been on stars for me, however as of late I am working on the pokerschool leaderboard.

In last season of leaderbord I finished once 1st.. I was dominating since begining and I played very aggresive... all the time I was double in chips that the second player... after that I didnt enter to last table but 2 times i finished 10th and couple of times I was in money, but didnt have luck to enter final table again... But I played only for 1 month, and I didnt enter top 30, I missed top 30 for little :S Now I have tournament in sunday for top 200 finishers, and I am planing to enter this leaderboard as well...
P.S. this was on pokerstars Big Smile

Congrats on your success Thumbs Up
I now know by experience how difficult it is to repeat the 1st success. Ever trying since - but without success so far Sad
But funny it seems - I am far more successful at PS than I am at FTP. Wonder why?! Blink

Wishing you all the best of luck at the tables and success in achieving your goal. Thumbs Up

Unlucky me!
Just a few minutes ago I had to leave the game just short of the final table (ok, ok - I got beaten by a stronger hand!) but managed to gain $ 0,21 to increase my BR Big Smile

Luke keep to this strategy on FT and youll finish always in the money, in the early stages of the tournament play as many hands as u can as agro as u can, avoid any coin flips, coz the donks dont care, they go all in with 75off get lucky and take u out, so general rule avoid coin flips unless u have AA or KK anything smaller that that just limp, mid stage: by now u should have any where between 5K to 15K depends really how agro u have played, continue playing any good hands, small pairs, suited connectors and ofcourse any premium hand Big Smile try to see the flop for as cheap as possible with small pairs and suited connectors, always raise, reraise and go all in with the premiums, by now u should be in the money, late game: now comes the true test of your game skills time Big Smile i often played very very tight at this stage, but not anymore, coze from 10 times with this strategy ull finish mb 1 time on the final table, so forget about tight play late stage of the game, widen your range, play even more starting hands, here is where i like limping the most Big Smile with any hand that makes sense Big Smile and if u hit the board, always always raise, and if u have a big cheap stack and you are by far the cheap leader on the table, use that power of the chips in your advantage, always open with a raise, double the cbet, check or fire 3rd round depends on the board and if u have the nuts or smell weakness blast him with a bet that he would have to go all in or fold, no sense in just a call to be left with 3bb to continue the game Big Smile since ive been playing like that im already 12th on the leaderboard was 5th guess i have to up my game a little Big Smile but overall im much more satisfied with my game, and always learning how to improve even more Thumbs Up i would suggest watching jaime staples on twich to get a good sense for tournament play, and play cash games to learn how to be agressive, as for the BRM tournament on PS i gave up long time ago Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile like demo said, if u finish 1st and stay insane, you are the chosen one Big Smile good luck at the tables Thumbs Up

thanks a million for your advise or better strategy. as with all advise i will consider it and adapt it as much as possible. guess in a time period i am able to adjust it to my play (if need be!).

with all them many played games and with growing experience and understanding i believe to have noticed that my problem is with my mindset. need to really work on that. together will all them strategy advises i guess i am on my way to pass the fish status Agree Big Smile

Its easy to overbet with a big stack! but having one also gives you the chance to sit back and wait for even better hands!! I only push large stacks around on the button to steal blinds in position, otherwise I just wait and play pockets AK

Gratz man!

Big mistake weaponone, late stage of the game if u play like that other players more loose and aggressive, will know u r a tight player and very soon will start picking on you, try to steal your blinds, coz they know u only play premium hands and pairs, they will fold every time u open anything bigger then the BB, and your chip stack will start from that point to go down, like i said forget about tight play this late in the tournament, always try to steal blinds, always push and squeeze for as much as u can, try to be the boss on the table, and its far easier to bluff, coz evry1 knows u play loose and with wide range of hands so u can easily rep any thing on the board, trust me, and not just me, many players will tell you that tight play late in the game is wrong play, but ofcourse u dont have to listen to me, and try to take the tight road, and well talk later, on how that went down Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile
