Search engine Yahoo have launched a new Texas Hold’em portal on their website this month. It is currently being advertised on their Fantasy Football Website, to capitalise on the crossover of interests between the two games. As yet it is just a play money only platform, with no prizes to be won. However, Yahoo are no stranger to offering real money gaming, and offer 'pay to win' games in both Fantasy Football and Fantasy Basketball right now.
yahoo poker? why not- the more, the better... from a players point of view increased competition is great news, and the more credible brands enter the market, the more safe choices players will have to spend their dollars

With the number of usesr they have in general, it wont be hard to attract new players if they ever announce real money gaming. Just a small add in their site, or email and the whole world will know in a couple of hours

Will there be real money poker games on that site? Because if not I do not think that anybody cares about it. But if they do it they might have pretty good promations at the beginning.

Well from time to time lots of rumours are heard. Like the site from facebook zynga wasnt it? They said they will open real money games, but havent heard anything about it. But even if yahoo starts giving some short of gifts, they will have many players.

Exactly. Zynga was the next big thing, at least it was told so. But nothing came out of it. There is a lot of wishful thinking going on regarding new rooms. As long as online gambling is not back in the US nothing significant will happen.

Yeah good luck with that yahoo, you will be just like facebook texas holdem poker, zynga if i remember the name, it has been a while since i played on those i usually plays on play money now and real cash so yahoo poker if for play money then it will be useless and so on. Anyway good luck with that yahoo, who knows he might do it and we can have another firm competing against pokerstars and we could get better bonus from them! Cheers!
