I don't want to come off as a "purist", after all, I did state in my blog that part of my roll at 888 will sometimes be taken to the casino there. However several years ago I went through a difficult period in my life where I wasted more money at online casinos than I should have. But one thing I always liked about the money I had at Pokerstars was that I knew it wouldn't be blown on a spinning wheel or slots. The goal of Pokerstars now is to squeeze as much out of their patrons as possible, and next quarter they need to make more profits than last so that the shareholders will be happy and the CEO gets his bonus.
