According to Forbes, federal Canadian police officers and financial market regulators raided the headquarters of Amaya on Wednesday. Amaya spokesman Eric Hollreiser said in a statement that Amaya is cooperating in an investigation by the Autorité des Marchés financiers (AMF).

It looks like someone missed the monthly police payoff, I mean um kickback. oops sorry i mean the freely given monthly donation to the police officers benevolence fund, yea that's it, really we all know the police would never take bribes or shake down people for no reason right. The cops in my area are well known for alleged corruption.

What the hell, does it means poker stars and Full tilt are owned by a company that is purchased by Ayama, damn, maybe i love conspiracies theories too much and think poerstars will go down soon, so get the hell out and keep your monies on ewallet hehe, nah kidding do not see that coming maybe in a few years or next year, who knows, peace out guys have fun at the tables!

Well I for one am glad to see that investigations do happen. It makes me think that it is a little safer out there for you and I when it comes to E Money on many sites. I am not suprised that it is well known sites though. The higher the profile the higher the scrutiny.

Inside trading, the biggest temptation to big company's managers and administrators. If any of us fish knew a way to put the hands on a big pot just for knowing something our opponents have no idea, would we use that information or not? Of course yes. And what if it was illegal? Some of us wouldn't use it, but others would probably use it the same, perhaps even again and again and, if caught, it would only be because of the last time. But in business market, where more than one regulator pays attention to everyone 's moves, the Adam's apple is something you should learn to live with by just looking at it without byte. Easy? No way, even more when we're talking about millions.

...You'd think after all the black friday shennannigans going on back then,...these guys would have learned a lesson from what they saw going on then....

Inspection was always on cards because with news of amaya buying pokerstars, amaya stocks doubled in a week. On news of casino & sportsbook addition also stocks soared again. Anyone who has information beforehand will make a killing profit.
