Hello fellow mobsters!
I have been thinking about playing mostly only cash games in the next year. I will be playing tournaments too, but I will mainly focus on the cash tables.
So I have a question to the cash gamers around the mob: where can I get material to study the playing strategy at micro stakes? I prefer videos but books are also an option. Also, what kind of games do you people recommend playing with a very short roll ($10)?
Thanks in advance and a happy new year to all mobsters!!!
I like "Dan Harrington - Harrington on Online Cash Games - 6 Max No Limit Holdem".
It explains the different types of opponents, and is also pretty good at explaining how to use your HUD.
I don't watch much strategy video, because it often lacks the attention to detail and completeness, that the writing/editing process adds to publishing a book. But maybe I just haven't found the right content yet... Also, it's hard to review particular topics in a video; a book allows you to quickly find what you're looking for.
B.t.w. $10 is not enough to play proper BRM; you'd need $40 at NL2
