I cant get higher than 10 cents...russians kill me every time Sad

------------
I just hit a russian again...in a 10 cents sng on PS, me with AK and him with QT and he hit the straight Sad Angry

My advise: Save your freeroll winnings until you have 10 buy-ins. That'll save you some energy and frustration because if you keep switching to BI games from freerolls often, you're just gonna end up playing the BI games the same way as the freerolls. Save up your freeroll winnings instead and allow a few BI losses before you pick up on how you should adapt your game.

Pstars is not really the site to start building a Br from scratch imo. Tongue better off playing elsewhere to start out

So, the first 7 days has now come to an end and I've totaled it all up. I started the year with a $0.00 bankroll. Now, after 7 days, my bankroll has grown to $11.62 which isn't a lot but it's at least something to work with. I'm now able to play the $0.20 games so at least I'm moving up the stakes.

Sorry I haven't made any more updates. I've been too busy with work and other stuff to have time for the forums (unfortunately). Anyways, I've played some poker during this time and I'm happy to say that my bankroll are currently sitting at $17.59 so it's going up. First month is almost over, just 9 days left, and I'm hoping that my bankroll will have reached $20 by then. I could put a higher goal but I'll only end up failing then since I don't really have that much time at the moment.

Oh well, considdering I started the year off with a $0.00 bankroll, I guess I should be happy with my results so far Smile

Hello erru, how many man Sng you play at pokerstars?
I deposit some money in there and then find out i can't play $0,50 6 man SnG , i can play $0,50 9 man but i don't raly like that.
Maybee i just don't know where to find the 6man $0,50 SnG.
And if u can please give me some advice for SnG games. Smile
Thank you!

And good lucky to reach your goal!

It is very frequent. Blink
I had 5 Dollars, but got a long unlucky series. There are chances 80%-20%, or 90%10% for me, then the others get 1 lucky in the last street. This is poker. But if you are good enought, on long way, you will earn a little. Blink

oskars19966: I play at PartyPoker Smile In the lower stakes, the best advice I can give you is to play tight-agressive and don't call with a too wide range, that's just a recipie for disaster.

Another update then. It's been a wile ones again, I just can't find the time to post that much here on the forums, I've simply got way too much to do at the moment Sad
Anyways, I don't really have that much time for SnG's anymore so I'm only playing those ones in a wile now and currently focusing on FastForward (Rush) instead since I can get a decent amount of hands done in a short period of time.

My bankroll is now currently sitting at $30.02 so it's going the right way at least. Aiming for $50 by the end of this month, probably a bit too high goal to set but hey, aim for the stars, right Blink

This is a thread that I am going to subscribe myself so that I don't miss any updates as it looks like a very interesting but more important 'very realistic' challenge you are doing here and if you ever reach this target which I personally think you will, then I will show this thread to my son who does not believe in these kind of stuff. Just to show his that patience and good bankrollmanagement is what you need to achieve long time goals. Good luck there Smile

Hi again mobsters!

Well, as it turns out my goal $50 by the end of the month wasn't to far fetched after all. My bankroll is currently sitting at $57.59, a number that I'm very happy with! I'm done for tonight but I might play some more tomorrow and go for $60, that would be a sweet month for me considdering I don't really have that much time to play anymore.

I've now completely switched to FastForward from SnG, I just can't find the time to grind those games enough to make any money at all. At least I know I can make money from cashgames, did it a few years back but growed tiered of the format. I've decided to give FastForward a shot seeing as it's at least a bit faster then regular cashgames and not exactly the same concept. So far I'm kinda liking it since I can get the volume in that I need in quite a short amount of time.

And just an FYI, stay away from the lowest limit of FastForward over at PartyPoker!! Those donks are mine!! Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile MUAHAHAHA Evil Evil Evil
Nah, but seriously, the standard of the players over there are just terrible so if you wanna make some fairly easy and quick cash, join me at those tables Smile

So, to sum things up:
Month is almost over, my goal of a $50 bankroll has been reached and exceeded.
My bankroll is currently sitting at $57.59 and if I get the time, I'll be going for $60 for a total increase of about $35-$40 for this month (don't have the exact number).

Thanks for your support! Well, now I have to succeed just for the sake of showing your son that it can be done! Trust me, I'll do my very best Smile

Well, I didn't play anything yesterday so my bankroll after February stoped at $57.59 which is good since I reached my goal of $50 and then some.

After playing a little bit today I managed to increase my bankroll just a little bit further and it not sits at $65.55 so a profit of about $8. It could have been another $10 if wasn't for my aces being cracked every single time. The two most frustrating times were AA vs 67 on a 46A flop. He pushed all-in for about $5 (1 buy-in) and I of course called. Turn is 3 and river is 5 so he lucked out on a straight.
The second time was AA vs 89 on a 835 flop. He bet $1, I call, turn is a K, he goes all-in with his remaining $3, river is a 9.
The most frustrating part about these hands was that they were agains the same player and he was betting like 8 big blinds pre-flop...

Oh well, I'm still in profit for today so no need to complain I guess Smile

I'm thinking about putting a goal for Mars but I'm not really sure how ambitious I should be... The number $100 sounds pretty damn good, but I don't want to take on to much and fail, so I'll be saying $90 as a primary goal and if I reach that and have some time yet to go, I'll go for $100 as a secondary goal Tongue

Well, today's been a really shitty day... Managed to lose 3 buy-ins within 3 hands due to real bad luck. That's 1 BI every hand!

First hand: KK, flop JK3, he goes all-in and flips over K3, turn 3, river 3.
Second hand: AK, flop is A2J, he bet's about $1, I call, turn is 5, he goes all-in and flips over J3, river 4.
Third hand: JQ, flop JJ3, he goes all-in and flips over 33.

So after those 3 hands which cost me about $15, I went on major tilt and pissed away another $10 on stupid calls and what not. Now sitting with a bankroll of only $39.00 and... Just hoping things turn around by tomorrow.

This was a really huge blow to my bankroll, it'll take quite some time to recover from it...

Don't let it get in your head man, you're doing a great work, and there will always be days like this. Just don't allow yourself to waste your money around on bad calls and not playing your best game. In
In that case just exit your poker client and come back tomorrow Smile

You started a year from zero and taking step by step you built a nice little bankroll, so don't allow yourself to get distracted from your goal by shitty days like this one. Good luck Smile

Thumbs Up

Thanks man! And yeah, I know I shouldn't let it get to me and normally if I lose 2-3 BI's it doesn't bother me too much but losing 3 BI's within 3 hands to nothing but bad luck, it just tipped me over my edge. But hey, it's poker, everything is bound to happen eventually so I'll just have to live with it when it does happen!

I've managed to fight my way back up a little bit and I'm now sitting at $54.04 and I'm gonna do my best not to go on tilt again, with such a small bankroll, just tilting a little bit is devestating!

Currently in a FastForward session so we'll see where my bankroll's at by the end of it!

------------
Todays closing bankroll is: $54.73

I will considder it a good day. I went from $37 and change up to my current bankroll, about $17+ so I'm happy with that! Now, my next goal is to reach $65 again, hopefully will do that tomorrow! After that I've finally recovered completely from my 3-in-a-row-BI-loss and tilt. It's taken some time but at least I'm slowly rebuilding.

keep it up, there is still a lot of time until the end of year

Yea there is a lot of time yet. But it also passes in a flash. We are closing to the easter, once
more along with another brm game, that can help that bankroll.
And the goal you have put is a very realistic one. Look at mirexx and what he has managed
with only one game Smile
