Now before i get jumped on i realise this is technically not allowed and i apologise for asking in advance. I have recieved an email from pokerstars saying i can release my first yearly vpp bonus in the store for 1fpp. only problem is i have 0.94fpp atm and stone broke. Would anyone be willing to transfer $1 to my account (player name:basey277) so that i can play a sng to get the remaining 0.06fpp....then i will release the $10 vpp milestone bonus and send $1 + 50c back to you. I shall obviously provide anyone willing to help with a copy on the email recieved to prove what im saying is true and any additional info the person wants, before any transfer takes place. Again apologies for even asking, it would be greatly appreciated if someone would be kind enough to help me out, but i undertstand if nobody is willing.

YOu should've sent him just $0.10, he could've played a $0.10 360 man SNG and get those 0.06VPPs. According to sharkscope, he hasn't played any real money SNGs/Tourneys.

At 100% compounded interest daily its sure gonna add up B"ass"ly is gonna need to take out a mortgage on it and make monthly payments to get it caught up.

Hopefully jakobusss is reimbursed.
If not, at least he's only out a $1.00 and he can feel good about trying to lend a helping hand.
If the OP does keep his word, jakobusss will be a shrewd "angel" investor with a 50% return on his investment.

From the look of things hes had some nice results. Biggest prize being 1300$. Hard to believe someone that can potentially win money would scam a buck but thats how its looking.

Who knows. It takes less then 30seconds to buy award and transfer money back. Unless hes been playing the same 1$ tourney since last night the money should have been back long ago

Try again - pokerstars id basey277.
I was talking about the time since he received the dollar, not lifetime
Hi. I am currently one very unhappy customer. You have sent me this email saying i can claim $10 in the vip store for 1fpp. I only had 0.94fpp and no bankroll so i went onto a forum and someone was kind enough to transfer me $1 so i could make the 0.06fpp and claim the $10 bonus that YOU yourselves have emailed me about to tell me to claim, and then transfer his $1 back to him. I now have 2fpp thanks to that persons kindness...but to my dismay i download the desktop client, log in, go to the store and it tells me i cant get the $10 as im still 66vpp's short. So now...i cant play with the money YOU have told me to claim, and i wont be able to post in that forum anymore as i will be flamed for not repaying this kind fellow who has transfered me $1 in good faith. So not only has your mistake cost what i thought was going to be an enjoyable evening playing poker, its also cost me my rep in that forum, plus some kind stranger $1
Can you at least give the guy his $1 back...as this situation is entirely pokerstars fault imo
Congratulations on earning 750 yearly VPPs and your first VIP Stellar Reward!
Redeem your $10 cash reward through the 'Cashier' by selecting the 'VIP Store' and visiting the '2015 - VIP Rewards' section. Purchase the ‘2015 – 750 VPP Stellar Reward - $10’ for 1 FPP and your VIP Stellar Reward will be immediately available in your account!
The next VIP Stellar Reward is right around the corner! Keep playing to earn another 1,500 yearly VPPs for another $10 reward. In total, there are 20 VIP Stellar Rewards worth $1,200!
Thank you for your patience while we reviewed this matter.
I am pleased to inform you that we have been able to identify what has occurred with your VPP points.
Please note that due to the recently introduced changes of VPP multipliers affecting all players from UK, we have now credited VPPs to all player accounts who claimed an Ultimate Challenge bonus in order to make up for the reduced amount of VPP being earned.
In your case, your target VPP amount to achieve your bonus is 2210. In order to make up for the reduced amount of VPP being earned we temporarily credited your account with 200.91 VPP.
Performing these credits resulted in two unavoidable credits in addition to VPPs being credited towards the bonuses:
1) Players received the FPPs (including multiplier) associated with the credited VPPs 2) Players received the Monthly and Yearly VPPs associated with the credits
These two erroneous credits have now been removed from your account.
As a result you also received an email advising that you are eligible for a Stellar Reward or that you have moved up a VIP Level. Unfortunately, this notification was not correct and was an unfortunate consequence of this process.
Regarding your transaction with another player, whilst we appreciate the position you are in and do apologise for the inconvenience caused, we are very sorry but we simply cannot get involved in deals made between players outside of PokerStars.
Please accept out sincere apologies for any inconvenience or confusion the VPP corrections may have caused.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate contacting us again.
Regards,
Tanner PokerStars Support Team
------------ Now...as you can see my story does indeed check out. i had every intention of repaying his kindness as im not about to scam someone for a poxy dollar. the reason i asked for the dollar is not coz im a broke homeless man bowie, but coz i have a $50 deposit limit...which i have reached and cant deposit till tuesday. Now once tuesday has passed i will indeed give him his money back as he was so kind to give it. As you can all see urselfs, i know how to play this game, and im hardly a fish just lookin to scam a buck.
------------ Thats correct....two ft's on the dollar donkathon and i do quite well at 180man sngs too. Although i do have a prob with dumping it all in zoom after winning it tho (which i where jakobus's dollar went btw). As for the other post askin for a stake into a game, yes i did make it....and if anyone had lent me it...they too would have been repayed. if im going to scam somebody, id make sure it was for a hell of alot more than a dollar thats for sure, but this is not my intention as i loathe dirty scammers..and beleive that anyones kindness in trusting an unknown should be repayed with extras....and that is exactly what i intened to do as soon as i can deposit into my account again
------------ I do agree that maybe i should have downloaded the desktop client and made sure it was available to me BEFORE making this deal but ive never had any issuse like this with stars before so i assumed the email was correct and that money was waiting for me to claim.
------------ I do apologies for this siuation (both to jakobus and the community). please be assured that i am just as unhappy (if not more) about it as you are, and that jakobuss will be repayed...just i little later than i had intended im afraid

The guy seems to be nice and i am pretty sure that he will pay back anyway its not our problem and i really dont understand why some are making post about it since Jako. never complaint yet.
