Duck poker in 3 day's is holding a $1,000,000.00 gtd poker game. the buyin is only $500.00 + $50.00 , there is currently 289 reg to play. HOW the FK can they offer this kind of gtd game when it takes 2000 players to get their money back.

Maybe the winners will have to rake their winnings afterwards It seems a bit of high for a tournament for this site. But actually we cant know how they are doing so far. And you never know how many will register till the beginning of it.

What network did they go to? That explains it then, about the guaranteed tournament, and at the end it is a good decision, if you see that you cant stand alone. Much better option than quitting. We need the diversity either way.
Their Biggest tournament was a 1000 gtd re buy and add on that's quite the leap forward, 289 people registered that's more player's this site has at peak times

Posted by pinotte: I saw in another thread that they joined Winning poker network, anyone here know this network.
I went to see and i dont know any poker room being part of this network, so is it a good move only time will tell and i wont reopen my account there.
I they had joined another network that is having well know room then it would be something to consider but IMO its to early to run to it.
The main rooms of this network are americas cardroom and Blackchip Poker. Both are US friendly, so the main traffic is from the US. I have an account at Blackchip and really like it. They are granting a flat 27% rakeback, which is not bad nowadays.

so they joined another network? its not a lone duck anymore ?
but yeah they could use some more players, i also have a few bucks there and wouldnt mind losing it if i were able to actually find a tourneys to play. also, someone said "its just a play money" ... wouldnt be so sure about it as there have been quite a few people who successfully cashed out their ducks money but yeah, yo do have to deposit there first though.
Well, depositing 10$ once you've got a whole bankroll so you can cashout isn't too risky. But check first if your visa can take these reverse payments...
About the new games available, I noticed you don't gain points when you play the new MTTs which sucks because I still have some to make some so I can cashout again. I would rather play their new MTTs but I have to stick to cash games and S&G (games written in black color in the lobby) or I don't get points. Feels a bit weird because they offer WPN games like they're their own, so these should give points just like any other game on Duck poker.

For me like said in other topic, that room, start good, and has a enjoy to play there, but the year change, and they start put a new rules, implications, and new stuff, like more tournaments, sits, but like i said before, the traficc is the same, the buy.ins stay the same, and for someone like themachineQC, try to get points there is hard because in some tournaments you play, maybe win, but you dont have points to accumulate and try to cashout some of the money, or maybe all, i said before, i play for maybe 2 to 3 months there, get a good bankroll, but when i see here that you have o make a large amount of points for cashout, i quited and look for a room that i play along the years, so if you try to experience that room, for me is a good try, but not in freerolls or a tournaments that get to much, maybe all players of the network.
But keep playing, trying, and be happy, enjoy life.
