This is my dream - to earn a living playing poker. But for me it is quite difficult, because I am broken and sometimes unnecessarily start raising rates. Several times I've won and withdraw, but after losing the remaining amount had again and again to enter the money. Here's a sad story ...

Well. Here we are. Sunday morning in England. It's cold, the sun isn't shining and the weekend is almost over. But, along pops a post (nay, start of a thread) from Superthight! I am suddenly cheered and find myself wanting to spring out of bed and shout thanks to the Lord that all is well and the fact that making a living out of playing poker (not earning poker for a living) is more than playing freerolls badly! Thank you for the inspiration! I could love you!

no you cant play freerolls for living. i mean you can play a few freerolls (or even more than a few) to get your bankroll started i suppose, but the reality is that most freerolls arent worth it.
playing 4hrs to, maybe, add 12cents to your bankroll... nah but what you could do is play frerrolls on top of your normal tourneys so that way you arent playing for hours to get a few cents.

since superthight is from the philippines, she prob could make a living playing freerolls, the exchange rate is around 50:1 , so i guess if she win a fair amount, then making a living off poker is possible
but iff you have time to play extra to win its allway's nice. wont say you will win more
but iff you can come top 3 bankrollmob game everytime it goes fast play lot of jackpot games to thats fast money even when you only dubble your money you only have to beat 2 poker players.

If you make money playing poker then you good and i respect you a lot because it requires a lot of hard work which i cannot do as i already work and i do not have the drive and discipline the poker pro have, even pro sports bettor plays and do a lot of research they spent even more time than the average Joe at work but they love what they are doing and that is why it is fun and you can make lots of money if done right mate! Cheers good luck!

Man that is the dream to live only from poker profits but if You do that then you are a rpo so will play other things rather then freerolls like live events bis buy.in tournaments
The freerolls can help you increase your bankroll but living only on freerolls profit seems to me very hard almost impossible

To live from poker is not only fun is it a hard work. But when I have any day enough money that I can pay my rent and my food for a year and have a good bankroll to play,I think I give it a try but not online only live games in casino's
Indeed, it's a hard work to make a living out of this game, but if you really want it you should change you behavior. You have to treat it as a job and you should improve your level, read a lot, use professional software etc. It's all possible but you have to work for it.

It would be nice to make enough to live from poker profits but I suppose it depends what sort of lifestyle you want from the game.If you are a teenager living at home with no financial responsibilities then it wouldn't be so bad but most people need a regular guaranteed income to survive.

i know i know... pokerstars owners make a living from poker... and so do lots of other gambling business operators. so better jump to the other side of the table- join me and other shrewd mobbits in our quest to rename "las vegas strip" to "pochui strip" and open a few new attractions there (namely "pochui's ball shave stand", "flashfaust's gangbang mansion" and a few more).

Answer to the question on the title. Many people do that, maybe some is like part.time, others is like a litle for a month, to pay some thing, like clouths, shoes, or cinema to he girlfriend, thing like that, but enought to do living, i dont knew no on here that does that. And like all above said living or try get some for a month from freerolls, even play many of pokersites, is really hard, and in the long term is not compensates, because, freerolls have time to start, and many have days only, and you get playing for a few weeks or maybe 2 a 3 months but after that your social life, body, mind and all other things, you get a "downswing", that will not be good, so if you have some cash in your bankroll keep playing some freerolls, and try some buy.in tourneys and try to get maybe some for a month for the thing that i mention before.

Well I made enough on live poker to pay for study and pay for food and stuff.
I also saved x% of my earnings and invested that in my own webshops(which I make a living of and which makes me money to play poker, which at this moments bring me more money to invest back in my companies)
