It was freeroll, and I didnt care... hand before that make me frustrated, I had pocket fives, and same guy went all in with some rag, and won 3 or 4 ways all in... I would hit full house and whole pot would be mine, so I was desapointed, and right next hand I got 77 and I decided to go all the way... It was freeroll, and I had nothing to lose

Well yeah the chance of 3 players hitting their set on the flop is very unlikely but possible i think the odds are in the billions i think, i dont have the maths but i know it is a rare occurence, anyway those hand happens and you have to deal with it and hopefully you are on the top set and you can brag about beating two set lol. Anyway have fun mate at the tables hope you are not on the receiving end of those lol. Peace out mate!

Nice hand, there. Rarely you see something like that. Most of you had something good, along with the one chasing the straight and got it, but 75? It is a freeroll yes, but you can pick better cards than these. And not that he had a low stack either.

field is very large in this freeroll, 20k players, and it was early stage of tournament, and there is a lot of players shoving with any 2 hand at begining... So its kind of understandable to see shoves like this

If you are talking about so many players then i can understand this. It is a shove expecting to get lucky at early stages and keep you as much as possible in the game. No point waiting for great cards with so many entrants. Not to mention that you might be bored eitherway playing such a tournament to the end.

Posted by bowie1984: These setups are not at all that rare. How many times you see pushing somebody with KK against AA and both of them ending up with a set after the flop come. There is only one step 4 another pocket pair to evolve into trips from here. Not that rare IMO.
I say its rare for 3 players to hit set on flop, which is... If you can prove me that I am wrong share your 3xset flop on boom player and share link in period of lets say 2 weeks... ( I never seen 3xset on flop... I've seen 3x set, but never on flop....)

Its funny how a simple hand can turn into critism n arguing. This forum seems great for that nowadays. Whatever happend to posting something getting feedback on what the topics actually about, this for example being the sets on flop, NOT the way the hand was played and moving on. Seems no one actually reads the post before giving there two cents. I agree StheP i have never seen three players hit the sets on the flop beforem and im out.
