There´s something that I can´t figure it out maybe his me but would anyone buy a add-on for a freeroll If you are on top half maybe but on the low end don´t think so LIKE AT 888 pay 40c for a add-on and the last place pays 80c

That sounds a lot reasonable... On stars there is 100k privilage freeroll, that have rebuy and add on for 30 cents, and last place is like 10c.... and to get 30c back you usualy had to finish in top 1000 of 20k+ players.... And what is unusual people massive buy those adds on and rebuys.... I suggest you not to do it because its freeroll, and if you are playing good, and have a good run, you can easy make those 1k or 2k chips that you will get for 40c

yea i see this all the time and i think it's stupid to do a rebuy in a freeroll, but some players are just bored and they have some small change in their accounts, so they hope to get lucky. but it's just plain stupid

I have played quite a few of the 888 freerolls,such as the chrome and copper ones which have an OK prize pool.If I am feeling confident,playing OK and have a decent stack I will sometimes do an add on but if my stack is just ready for an all in I don't bother.After the add on period the tournies are not too bad to play.

Well the basic rules of playing rebuys tournament for me is to keep a fund aside to use a rebuy /ad don if it ever happens , it would be rude not to do it when everybody does and you do not, always plan to use it just do not go over your budgeted limit and always dont play if you dont want to use add on and so on. Anyway good luck at the tables hope you do well and make us proud by winning a lot of tournaments cheers mate have a nice day!

From my point of view it does not make a lot of sense to make a rebuy or buy an add-on in a freeroll, because as the name says it should be a tournament in which you dont risk any of your own real money.

Its a real strange situations, but a lot of people do that, maybe because get that felling , maybe because have a bankroll that they dont want, or something that we can figure it out. But yes a freeroll, is a tournament to win money not to lose it. For me in all rooms that i have installated, in the configuration, i delete the option of rebuy/add.on, i allways play in tournaments that not required that kind of things.
It's different when you could rebuy for points/tickets (not that they would worth it 'cuz those are also far from being 'free') but majority of the times those who are rebuying on frees are either on tilt or didn't made a close look at the payout structure - or forget that they aren't playing a proper rebuy tourey. Be thankful for them 'cuz everytime they do this the prizepool will grow so every casual player just benefitting from them in a long run.
