Just sharing old news if anyone should have missed it like me
The BadBeatJackpot at Party was up to $1.013.381,63 when a NL100 player "Judith75" thought she was winning 24$ with her quad 99's but she ran into a straight flush so she lost 24$ but won BadBeatJackpot of $354.683,63 That's a nice pot at NL100 I think that's what you call deepstack

Very nice, iv been playing a player called sowhaticall (or something like that) just found out that he has hit the mills!!!! i play micro, WTF, lots of ppl think hes a bot. FK if i hit the mills i still gonna play micro LOL. Need to get on the BB tables.
Hey, i could loose this kind of hands everyday... It's a pretty nice bankroll with this hit. This player now will payout this in 2 months i think because of the daily cashouts limits. Hope will hit soething like that someday. Good luck to all hitting the BadBeat jackpot...

Such a win is nice. But so are wins in the lottery or a progressive jackpot at slots. And those are as likely as hitting the bbj. If you do the math, the badbeatjackpot usually is not worth the extra rake.

You can just play there when the BBJ is big like it was this time 7 figures first time at Party you don't have to help build it to win it. I saw some math dudes doing some calculation to find out that it was +EV to play at the BBJ tables when it was that amount.

I'm never going to win a bad beat jackpot, I think you have to pay extra to play at those tables anyway.
And I wouldn't pay for insurance unless I was getting a good price. Phil Hellmuth likes to get insurance all the time even with bad odds. I guess its a win win situation if you buy insurance; win the hand, you stay in the tournament, lose the hand and get paid by the insurance.
