Ijust went and see the players that are already entered in this tournament and besides the one that are mentionned in the news there are not to many moore that i know. IMO most of these guys are sponsored by a pool of peoples to get the 500K. entry fee. which is a lot of money for one person. Question Question

we have 641,339 mobbits on BRM- it only takes a single dollar from them and i agree to take part in this super high roller bowl whatever tourney. i can even tattoo brm logo on my left ball and wear special edition jeans with my left tattooed ball sticking out through the precut hole near the pocket.

I like this part cause Einstein would laugh about it. The rest of your comment was some simple minded sheeeeet Big Smile I can only add one joke to this with no connection whatsoever:

One redneck is invited to dinner by his friend lawyer and his wife doctor. At the table redneck is asking the doctor:
R: Ms. Doctor, are you doctor?
D: Yes.
R: And do you believe in god?
D: No. I cant understand how can anybody believe.
R: Why?
D: There is no proof, nobody have seen him ever.
R: I also didnt see your p***y, but I believe you have one.

i guess 500K is nothing for most of those
of course it is crazy for us , but for those guys are just like playing the sunday million on pokerstars
Big Smile
i hoped to see the 1M tournament but this one is good enough
the first one to go , just like that 500k out of the window
that would change my life

Could you imagine paying 1/2 a million to play a game of poker? That is just beyond imagination. Even if I won the euromillions when it was at about 147million euros I couldn't and wouldn't imagine paying this much to play poker. Good luck to them all.

What a great tournament this promises to be and i am really looking forward to seeing how it plays out. I agree that it is an obscene amount of money just to play a game of poker though

No ugly ring would worth the effort to buy you into this.

It must be nice to have half a million dollars to hand to buy into a tournament that doesn't start until July.It would be nice to watch this kind of tournament on TV but in the UK the WSOP seems to be forgotten by any broadcasters.Hopefully the new poker central TV channel will be successful.

After see the tournament with 1 million on buy.in, and lot of the big names get into, and esfandiari won, see half of the inicial buy.in, is not surprise me that more other players beside the regulares try to put their name there.
And win that ring, that is a litle bit equal of the superbowl, and see the name bowl there, and is in america, maybe they try to put some categorie on poker a long with football Big Smile

I cannot imagine how people can pay such nig money to play poker, half a million is big money even for multimillionaires so these players are probably very rich almost billionaires if they can risk half a million of dollars in one single tournament, some people just have to much money

Even when they sell actions, I can see many of them deeply in debt despite being bankrolled by somebody else since the dawn of their carrier...
The narrative of the world of gambling is never strong on success stories and I bet many of these people would consider a success if they could just walk away from grinding - even at this level.

My understanding is that a lot of the poker pros don't own all their own action when they play with buyins this big. They definitely aren't 'rolled for it' in the general sense of saying you should have 50-100 BIs for MTTs to allow for variance.

The ones that own all their own action, despite their skill level, are gambling. Even a pro can get AA cracked by s**t, all in PRE.
