cool eurovision is off again and not from the friendly "european" nation of azerbaijan. pity that north korea and burundi are not taking part this year, guess that geography has nothing to do with this, jury just didn't like their music style... shame on em. ah well may the biggest bribe win, oops i meant may the best song win... whatever

...Man,...they bet on EVERYTHING over there,...!
Australia - Guy Sebastian "Tonight Again" Austria - The Makemakers "I Am Yours" France - Lisa Angell "N'oubliez pas" Germany - Ann Sophie "Black Smoke" Italy - ll Volo "Grande Amore" Spain - Edurne "Amanecer" United Kingdom - Electro Velvet "Still in Love with You"
...my first question was ..."Who...?"
...but then I realized I actually saw these guys....: Italy - ll Volo "Grande Amore" ,...on Conan or Jimmy Fallon before,...and they are very good at that operetic stuff for young guys...!

Soon it starts finally, makes me happy already all year on it. Conchita Wurst the ESC won last year surprised me nevertheless much. There one sees Europe to stop becomes ever more tolerant.

Portugal used to vibrate a lot with Eurovision until the 80's, then things went a bit on low profile, with television giving it less space. Although we never won anything, there were a couple of singers who made long carreers after their participation. I always like these kind of bets. It's nice to be able on different stuff besides sports every now and then. I usualy only hear about the oportunity to bet on which noth-american candidate will win the elections, but i never found a way to bet on it. Perhaps i will give it a try this time. Go Portugal!

I can pretty much guarantee that the United Kingdom will not win with the way that the voting goes, the UK seems to be friendless in Europe these days.....how quickly the past is forgotten. If it comes to betting then Australia could have a chance...why invite Australia to a Euro event if no one would vote for them and also as the winner has to stage the next years event so maybe the judges would prefer the gold coast....so cynical....
