May I suggest that you investigate pre-pay credit cards where you pay money in then deposit onto sites using that. I use them all the time and they are invaluable. I can only deposit whats on the card at the time and should anything untoward happen there is no money in there to be stolen.
You can then ask the site to send you a bank cheque to your home address once you have succesfully deposited.
As for lending you money so you can withdraw, if I had $1 for every person that ever came up with that old chestnut then I would be playing alongside Antonius and Durr with a bigger bankroll than they could ever hope to match.
If you can afford to pay your internet bill each month to play poker, and have enough time to invest to play poker, I am fairly sure you can find $25 somewhere to deposit and then withdraw your winnings.

fcumred.. good idea I have been thinking about these pre-pay cards for all my internet transactions.
What are there charges are thay the same as a normal credit card and do you still have the same fraud protection
You dont get fraud protection, but then again I wouldnt need it because what I pay onto the card what I want to deposit on the site and thats it. Once the sites got it then it doesnt matter if someone did get hold of your number, theres no money for them to spend and you can then just cancel that card with the poker room and get another one.
If think personally they are a safer bet than a real credit / debit card. You can control whats on it and what comes out and goes in.

i don't understand why you can not make a deposit into your moneybookers account ... it seems to me that it was possible for you to open a moneybookers account so i don't see the reason of not using this method by yourself ...
