Maybe. But for the way back you need only 1 minute. If you play a one-buy-in-strategy you can come far, if you are lucky. But in the end you will bust.

i love to here how people get on in challenges like these i have tryed something like that before i played for about 8 hours but got up to $1000 not too bad but that was hard controling myself and trying not to get involved but i hope you get it keep updateing us.

unfortunately the game we all love, is a right tempramental b**** and well if you get lucky it can be done, i find this really amusing because i have turned $2 in $2500 on pacific poker, took me 3 days of almost constant play and i got greedy pushing for $8000 which was my target, if you get a good start can be done, but you have one really bad beat and its over, i ended up lose $1800 of the $2500 in one hand with me in bb 22 , sb just calls and i check, (cash game ) 20/10 nl holdem. flop 22A , yes you can guess he had AA turn 7 river A

So what sort of stakes did you use to make the $2500?

i started off 2 dollar tournament 10 seated and won it to make me five dollars, then play 2 more and won both again, 888 have an $8.80 tournament which i played next winning as well to take me to $40 dollars then i played tournaments till about $200 dollars , placing 1st and second alot, think only once i didnt get paid. then i went to a multi table $20+2 rebuy won $876 and then played cash 5/10 and then 10/20 shame i didnt win with the quad fours , would have been loaded ;D

------------ as said above, i dont play like this anymore you only bust in time, i ended up cashing around $750 out but in long run you just keep playing it!! , i use a good bankroll management style now of 25 buyins . slow wins yet really consitant climb up
So what is your bankroll now? 5000? may be 10000? or 1000000? How much can you get from pushing every hand? Good strategy, what about that?))) I see the guy was just kidding)

Well my record is losing $6500 on a single hand but this is not more then 20% of my bankrolll . About the 5 bucks quest ... it's impossible to be done in 12 hours. I started my bankroll with $50 and got $4500 in 2 days with a lot of badbeats also.
