myself id rather have ak than aa.now AA is the better hand supposidely,but i find AK gives you more options,can hit 2 top pair or straight,or ace with k kicker or king with a kicker.where as AA is just AA.what do youse think.

Hmm, Well you got a point, But altough you have better outs, AA = top pair, AK you need to hope on a hit, so your ratings to win are lower if i am correct. So if we see these hands in facts AA is always better than AK.

Hey scl, how are you? Answer me this, if you are going heads up with someone and you had one of those two hands, would you bet your chips on your your AK vs. AA or your AA vs. AK? Your answer would be mine as well. Take care

Omg offcourse you want AA lol, AK is tricky hand sometimes. I dont like AK in early stage sit n go. Its a hand to loose much chips in first stage of sit n go. Offcourse AA is always playable, early stage,middle stage ect. Perfect hand, the best hand

Yep im with the AA, even just looked at my stats, aks is a losing hand for me, unlike ako (82%aa, 40%aks,74ako), but saying that 33 and qq is doing quite well :}

wtf
I just checked the calendar, it is the first of september, not the first of april. One round of pokerstove: AA vs random is 85% favorit, AK vs random is 65% favorit. So it is easy: AA

Posted by Poeinkie: but yeah I do like the looks of AK suited looks very pretty
Thats why it has the nickname Anna Kournikova.
This hand "looks" good, but in real live play it can be a bitch. Less for tourney players. The shallower stacks there make it easier to play. But for deep stack cashgames it is a problem hand, espacially out of position.
